For all those that are new here and also for those that have been around for years I wanted to finally share a synopsis (in a one minute video) of my entire fitness journey so you can see what I came from and see how I have got to where I am today๐๐ป we started in the gym with little knowledge and the worst form Iโve ever seen yet we still posted this on YouTube seven years ago because why not ๐ we decided to start a social media account when nobody was really doing it and Iโm so glad that I did could just led me here today ๐๐ป Over a few years I became a qualified person trainer, learned a lot of knowledge and i was able to really focus on my training and nutrition to work towards the body I always wanted. But I finally go and swing of things in my social media was growing and we had a lovely lockdown period of working out from home trying to do whatever we could to stay fit and healthy and share that with other people online ๐ Eventually, in 2022 when weโre all back up and running I launched my fitness app which has helped over 27,000 people and has been the absolute best thing Iโve ever done. Providing programs and meals for you guys and building a community has really allowed me to help as many people as possible. ๐ At the end of 2022 became pregnant with my first daughter and this was a whole challenge on its own. I was determined to stay as fit and healthy and trained throughout my pregnancy so long as it was safe for me to do so and Iโm so glad that I did but postpartum was a whole other story. I had to take three months off of the gym to recover after some complications but we finally got back to really focusing and working on ourselves to be the better version of ourselves not only for me, but for my daughter and family ๐ถ Here we are 10 months postpartum age 30 and feeling strong fit healthy happy and wishing to use this platform to make as many of you feel the exact same way. And so thankful youโre here and hope you stick around for years to come and let me help you on your journey and some kind of way ๐#fitnessmotivation
Meal prep burritos?! (serves 4) Sweet potato & tempeh burritos Ingredients; 3 sweet potatoes 2 bell peppers 1 red onion 1 can black beans 1 x 400g tempeh 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp Mexican seasoning 1 cup fresh salsa 4 torilla wraps 200g guacamole Method; 1. Add chopped sweet potato to the air fryer for 15 minutes 2. Follow with the tempeh for another 10 minutes 3. In a pan add peppers and onions until softened, add in black beans, seasoning and salsa and stir to combine 4. Layer onto a wrap and top with guac 5. Wrap in foil to keep fresh in the fridge (also freezer friendly!) The most wholesome day ๐ด (swipe for surprise) Long story cut very short; we decided 3 weeks ago to book a few days away in Dubai. My sister lives there and signed up to run the half marathon to raise money for prostate cancer UK - something our Dad went through last year๐ซถ๐ป feeling very blessed that we could pack up and crash their trip to spend a few days in the sun with my favourite people ๐๐ป
If you need breakfast to last you the next few days then this recipe is for you๐ซถ๐ป Breakfast; (serves 4) Raspberry chocolate chip baked oats Ingredients; 260g oats 160g yogurt 400ml almond milk 4 tbsp baking powder 40g protein powder 1 cup frozen raspberries A few tbsp chocolate chips Method: 1. Blend everything except the raspberry and chocolate to form a batter 2. Pour into an oven proof dish and mix in the toppings 3.
