Many women report a huge reduction in their ability to cope with their ADHD symptoms once they became a mother. 🫠 This is because many routine aspects of motherhood impact and worsen existing ADHD symptoms, including: 🤰🏻 sleep deprivation 🤰🏻 sudden increase of demands 🤰🏻 no alone time to daydream, go slow 🤰🏻 sensory overload 🤰🏻 hormonal fluctuations 🤰🏻 meal planning, prepping & cooking 🤰🏻 feeling 'touched out' 🤰🏻 early mornings / no sleep ins 🤰🏻 post-partum anxiety & depression 🤰🏻 isolation, but being too exhausted to maintain friendships and more...
