Farewell Gray November πŸ“–πŸ‚πŸ•―οΈπŸ΅πŸ§Έ This month for some reason felt like the shortest month of the year. I am still in disbelief that it ended yesterday. I thought that I had more time to read more books and that wasn't the case. Nonetheless, I was able to read 8 books, two novellas and I had one DNF (I would call that a successful month knowing that I probably won't read nearly as much in December) 🍭 My favorite reads of this month were "Where the Library Hides" by Isabel IbÑñez, "Drowned in the name of Love" by Rut DΓaz and "Not in my Book" by Katie Holt. I honestly find hilarious that all these books were written by Spanish speakers. 🀭 These ladies put their whole heart and talent into these stories and you guys should def add them to your tbr's πŸ’• πŸ’Œ books I read in November: - Swept Away: 2πŸ’« - The Gods Time Forgot: 3πŸ’« - The Rose Bargain: 3πŸ’« - Where the Library Hides: 4πŸ’« - Drowned in the Name of Love (beta) 5πŸ’« - The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year: 2.5πŸ’« - A Winter Wish: DNF - Merriment and Mayhem: 4.5πŸ’« - Cruel Winter with You: 2πŸ’« - You Between the Lines: 2πŸ’« - Not in my Book: 4πŸ’« #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booksta #bookblogger

A reader end of the year reflection πŸ“–πŸ¦₯πŸͺ΄πŸŽ€πŸ«ΆπŸ»βœ¨ As we're almost at the end of the year, I think it's important to reflect on the book community and the expectations we often place on ourselves. Let this be your reminder that whatever the reason behind your love for reading is, it should never be a competition and you shouldn't be comparing yourself with anyone else. Reading is a unique experience and it should be cherish as a beautiful thing, not something that can cause you stress. No matter how many books you have on your shelf, how many special editions you own, how many followers or engagement you have on your platform or if you end up completing your reading challenge or not; you're enough and you read enough this year. Be proud of yourself. πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ’˜ Also, huge thanks to @outofprint for sending me this adorable holiday inspired bookstore t-shirt. I am obsessed with it. πŸŽ„βœ¨ #outofprintpartner #gifted

to live for the hope of it all πŸŽžοΈπŸ§ΈπŸŽ€πŸ•―οΈπŸ’« I spent the best little trip visiting my sister in PA and the distraction was so much needed. I visited so many fun local bookstores and saw so many pretty landscapes. But the highlight of my trip was finally meeting one of my best friends on booksta @readingmayyy πŸ₯ΉπŸ«ΆπŸ» She's such a light and made me not think about anything the few hours we spent together. I literally wish she could stay here forever. One of the best hugs I've ever been given. πŸ˜πŸ«‚πŸ’˜ It's crazy to think about how many great people we have found through sharing our love for books. Reading wise, I've been stuck in the same arc "The Rose Bargain" by Sasha Peyton Smith and even though I've done some progress, I am still not 100% invested in the story. Aside from that, I started "Where the Library Hides" by Isabel IbÑñez on my flight back to Boston and it felt so comforting being back in this world. I adored the first book and I know that I am going to adore this one just as much, hopefully even more. The FMC is fierce and strong and that's exactly what I needed to read in times like these. 🫢🏻 Sending everyone a BIG virtual hug and may the odds be in our favor: today and always. 🫢🏻✊🏻🩡

October, you will always be my favorite β˜•οΈπŸ‚πŸ€ŽπŸ§ΊπŸ§Έ October was filled with special re-reads, books that surprised me and others that I genuinely wish I never read. This month was magical, breathtaking and one of my favorites of the year. I read 13th books and I am surprise because I didn't had a single DNF πŸ‘πŸ» However, to be completely honest, I wish I had DNF "If I stopped Hunting You" because that was kind of tragic. My top three reads of this month were Intermezzo, which I loved and adored deeply, my beloved once upon a broken heart series and the cutest novella ever: spectacular. 🩰 Like I said before, this month was dedicated to Stephanie Garber and what a perfect month it was. My re-reads were glorious as always and I had the best time ever. πŸ₯ΉπŸΉπŸπŸ’Œβœ¨ I am excited for November and the possibility of finding new favorites. I am also looking forward to read some Christmas books because I LOVE holiday books so so much and they bring me so much joy and help me immerse myself in the Christmas spirit. πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸŽ„ πŸ’Œ book I read in October: - A Conjuring of Light: 5πŸ’« - Intermezzo: 5πŸ’« - The Dagger and The Flame: 3.5πŸ’« - Caraval: re-read - Legendary: re-read - If I stopped loving you: 2πŸ’« - Finale: re-read - Best Hex Ever: 4πŸ’« - Spectacular: 4.5πŸ’« - Once Upon a Broken Heart: re-read - The Ballad of Never After: re-read - A Curse for True Love: re-read - The Humans: 3πŸ’« #booklover #bookstagram #booklover #booksta #lifestyle #romancebooks #romantasy #bookblogger #bookrecommendations

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." πŸπŸ©°πŸΉπŸ•―οΈπŸ’Œβœ¨ October has always been my favorite month of the year for multiple reasons but now it's extra special because I get to do my annual re-read of the "Once Upon a Broken Heart" series. Nothing compares to all the feelings that I get to experience everytime I read-visit this series: love, joy, massive heartbreak but mostly hope. πŸ₯Ή I finished ballad last night and I am a little over 15% into curse. I am honestly having the best time ever. πŸ₯ΉπŸ«ΆπŸ» Aside from that, I did read "Spectacular" (it's a octobergarber OBVIOUSLY) and I absolutely loved it. It felt so magical and dreamy but I will definitely re-reading it during Christmas season. πŸŽ„πŸ©° Another recent read was "Best Hex Ever" by Nadia El-Fassi and what a beautiful, heartwarming, fun and silly read it was. You guys need to read this book before the fall season ends, it's adorable and super short / fast paced. πŸŽƒ I hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!! 🫢🏻✨✨ #booksta #booklover #bookstagram #onceuponabrokenheart #ouabh #evajacks #romancebooks #yafantasy #fallreads #autumnbooks #bookblogger #bookaddict #bookphotography #bookaddict #lifestyle
