I loved every second of it, especially the slow burn and the enemies-to-lovers trope 🤭💗! Also, a lot of people said it’s inspired by the Hunger Games which is the thing that made it even more perfect since I adore Hunger Games! And then the second book which is Reckless made me even more in love with the characters and the tension between them 🔥However, the end? It was crazy!!! Well, the first half of the book was slow and kinda boring, to be honest. However, the last half was great. The events started to get interesting and I got hooked till the end. There were some moments when my heart broke but the ending healed me. To be honest I really loved the first book than this one. I think Ruthless Vows was a bit rushed and boring. Lana's backstory broke my heart a lot 😭💔 She was been though a lot at a young age! I cried so much during this whole book series especially at the last book! The plot was well built and I didn't feel like I was reading a dark romance, it more like a mystery thriller book! Jake and Hadly have my heart, they real loyal friends to Lana💕 And Logan it was a bit frustrating and dumb as an FBI agent! His character was representing the book boyfriend which I usually read about! He was more realistic to be honest (which I hate in books) but he was good for Lana, even though I think she deserves better 😅 (sorry Logan). How they support each other and fight for each other ♥️. Also, the relationship between Scarlet and Julian was super cute 😍 And Donatella and Dante? The tension was all we wanted 🔥💕. During reading the three books I went through all stages of grief, love, and fear. In addition to the style of writing which was so poetic and beautiful.
