🤳🏼 According to a quick Google search, “The average length it takes toddlers to learn the process is about six months.” This is generally done when the toddler is an average of 3-years-old. Compare that to the 18 month+ toddlers who potty train through the Tiny Potty Training book by @godiaperfree. For them, it’s an average of 7 days for potty training 🙌🏻🥳 One of my favorite quotes from the book: “The earlier you start, the earlier you finish. Every time.” For a free guide (and an idea of what the book is like) comment “PRIMER” and you’ll get 3 days of quick tips and motivation to say buh-bye 👋🏻 to diapers Or if you wanna skip the guide and go straight to the book comment “PT BOOK” below 👋🏻I am a certified Go Diaper Free Coach and my mentor was (and still is) Andrea Olson, author of Go Diaper Free and mom of 6 babies, all EC'd from birth, all out of diapers by WALKING 🚶🏻 She is the top expert on infant potty training (aka Elimination communication or EC) and created a book specifically for parents who want to relearn the lost art of EC 📜 #godiaperfree #pottytraining

Did you know this “sign” before? 👇🏻 This can help with #eliminationcommunication or potty training. It can even be beneficial if your child is non-verbal! BTW sign language does *not* prevent verbal language development. In fact, it benefits early verbal language!

Here’s a little tip that can make a big difference: Instead of asking “”Do you need to go potty?” try stating that “It’s potty time!” Knowing WHEN ⏰your child needs to go is the key to making the whole process a breeze. Learn about the “4 Roads to Potty Time” in the book “Go Diaper Free” Starting this habit early sets the stage for success and can avoid those tricky power struggles that can pop up during potty training. Of course, there’s an exception - if your kiddo says ‘no’ and actually means ‘no,’ or vice versa! Comment the word EC BOOK to checkout the book for babies 0-18 months OR if you wanna dip your toe in comment GUIDE for a free one page guide for babies under 18 months Happy potty learning! #Pottylearning #parentingtips #momhack #pottytraininghack #protip #toddlerlife #toddler #eliminationcommunication #EC #ECjourney #godiaperfree #diaperfreediaries #pottytrainingtips #momlife #dadlife #SAHM #SAHMlife #parenting101 #parentingwin #potty #pottytime #baby #pottytraining

👉🏻 Did you notice the “staring off in the distance” and the “shudder”? Those are two of the many signals that babies communicate that they need to pee! 💦 We didn’t know enough about EC at this time to realize it, but we could have caught a pee at this very moment! (This video is from two years ago) 🎄👶🏻 Here’s a few other signals that baby needs to pee (or poop) that are in the Go Diaper Free book: -sudden or increased fussiness -shift from stillness or movement -shift from movement to stillness -squirming or wiggling -shaking or shivering -grunting or bearing down -arching back -trying to “escape” the carrier, high chair, etc. Interested in learning more? The full list of signals is in the Go Diaper Free book. This book shows you step by step how to potty your baby, from newborn to 18 months. It is currently 50% off TODAY only (11/29) until midnight EST ⏳ Comment “FRIDAY” for a direct link! Make sure to use the coupon code “BLACK50FRIDAY” for that discount 😉 #godiaperfree #diaperfreediaries #eliminationcommunication

A year ago I taught a virtual potty training class to a group of moms of toddlers, and one mom saw success pretty quickly with her 19-month-old! (Every child is different, but she sent this to other moms for encouragement) 👍🏻 - Ready for your child (18 month old and up) to start potty training? Just drop “PT BOOK” in the comments, and I’ll send you the direct link to the book! PS There will be a Black Friday sale 👀 #pottytraining #godiaperfree #diaperfreediaries #diaperfreebaby #eliminationcommunication

WHY PRIVACY IS BETTER ⬇️ Our children might want privacy as early as 8 months old 🤯🚽 (I have a recent reel showing this)! Additionally, sometimes accidents and resistance are signs that your little one is craving more privacy and control during potty training 💪🏻 To help them, try giving them a prompt “go potty!” and then giving them space in creative ways 🚪🧡 Find a ‘busy’ task in the bathroom or walk out “forgetting” something and come back shortly (you can even still keep an eye on them through the door) 🚨 IMPORTANT: Use discernment on your child’s age and how comfortable you are stepping back/out of the room. Personally I didn’t leave the room until maybe 14 months, but he tended not to care if I was in the room with him *Resource: The Tiny Potty Training book (18 months and up) Comment “PT BOOK” below for the link ✨ #pottytrainingtips #pottytraining #toddlermom #toddler #boymom #eliminationcommunication

Still laying your toddler down for diaper changes? Let’s talk about stand-up diapering—a Montessori-inspired, developmentally appropriate way to involve your child in their care! 💪✨ By 12–18 months, toddlers aren’t babies anymore 🍼➡️👦👧, and laying them down can feel frustrating or babyish. Switching to stand-up diapering: Respects their independence 👐 Turns diaper changes into a collaborative effort 🤝 Helps them practice skills like stepping out of pants and wiping 🙌 Makes the transition to potty training smoother 🚽 Stand-up diapering is a natural transition to early potty training because your child learns to pull down pants, step in and out of clothing, and stay still during changes. These are the same skills they’ll need for using the potty. This approach also honors your toddler’s growth, fosters confidence, and lays the foundation for ditching diapers altogether. 👋🏻 If your baby is 18 months and up and you’re feeling ready to potty train comment PRIMER for free a 3 day potty primer to help you get started 💪🏻 For 0-18 months old comment START for a free one page guide to pottying! Thanks to @guidepostmontessori for the inspiration! #montessori
