Wide bands of green and white marble add a tailored and masculine edge to this small shower room. The smaller scale stripes on the floor are an interesting way of playing with pattern scale #barlowandbarlow

This is probably one of the best sitting rooms I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time in. You can see from the second slide the proximity to the emerald coloured water that this Jamaican hideaway perches over. The house is essentially open all the time so everything has to be able to withstand all the elements, any surface gets ripped to shreds by the salty air and so we chose things that would allow that or would suit it. So whilst finishes develop some serious patina’s it only adds to the sense of barefoot luxury. By day the room is a welcome shady reading spot, by night the bar glows and the rum keeps pouring 🥃🧊 So no thats not a real Rothko….! #barlowandbarlow Ph. @aliciawaite_
