Sweet teeny guest loo in our Norfolk project as featured in the July issue of @houseandgardenuk available now. We carved the space out of an existing bedroom and wrapped the room in a pretty @antoinettepoisson wallpaper. Happy weekend x 📷 @andrewdsteel You can contact @haineskate for all rental enquiries

We re-configured the first floor of this lovely family home in north london so the bedroom, previously accessed only from the landing, now opens into a light-filled bathroom at the rear, and a dressing room & study at the front. We increased the depth of the hearth wall to anchor the headboard, adding joinery either side. Earthy blues and brick reds underpin the bedroom scheme. 📸 @paul_whitbread_photo

The living room at our Marylebone Pied-A-Terre currently online @houseandgardenuk with lovely photos by @paul_whitbread_photo The beautiful Mahal rug from @farnhamantiquecarpets was the starting point for the scheme and provided a wonderful base layer to the @atelier.ellis wall colour in double smoked green blue. A kitchen spruce up. The cupboard fronts were hand painted in a rich, warm red from @francescaspaintsltd with sweet button cabinet knobs in an aged brass from @devolkitchens The artwork on the return wall is an original circus poster from the 1950’s in the U.S. A joyous find from @philtaylorscoolstuff on the Lillie Road, and the prowling tiger above the stove was sourced from The Old Cinema. It’s become such a welcome place for us all to gather especially on these rather grey days! 📷 @paul_whitbread_photo

We will be sending out a monthly newsletter sharing design tips, project updates and interior inspiration. If you would like to subscribe you can now sign up on the website. Link in bio to the homepage. I can’t promise a winking Enzo each month but he will undoubtedly feature in varying degrees of repose! Thankyou @urbananna20 for the beautiful illustration and to @warrencreative for going above and beyond.

I almost always source an antique mirror for a bathroom. It’s an easy way to add a bit of flair and a personal touch. The mid century fruitwood mirror in the image was a happy find whilst antiquing in Alfie’s Market - a great place to have a rummage and invariably leave with something other than what you came for! The wide board tongue and groove is to ceiling height and helped create a warmer more friendly space. 📷 @paul_whitbread_photo

A sweet little loo we designed in a recent project. We added panelling and wrapped the walls and ceiling above in rice paper sheets. Each sheet is printed by hand in the batik method. One of the joys is that no two sheets are the same - the imperfections are there to be celebrated. A deep wall hung pietra grey marble basin makes the most of the small space with very smart antique brass taps from @studioore A wee jewel box of a space. 📷 @paul_whitbread_photo

A well designed staircase tends to be the first architectural feature you notice when walking into a home. We give a lot of thought to the aesthetic and weigh up the practical needs of our clients when considering the design. A stair runner or a combination of painted treads, risers and spindles, a beautifully ergonomic oak handrail - all can easily dress up a staircase, whether it’s in a narrow Victorian house or a grander entrance. Swipe for a few from our recent projects in all manner of the above! Image 1 📷@james_mcdonald_photography Image 2-7 📷 @paul_whitbread_photo

Our studio recently photographed by the wonderful @paul_whitbread_photo, to feature in our new website launching at the end of this month. It’s refreshing to see the studio looking so crisp and tidy when it is most often strewn with samples, tiles, plans and dogs! 📷 @paul_whitbread_photo
