I constantly take images for my enjoyment, as personal assignments. Lots of my favourite images were taken for these projects. Of course, they often contain my own dogs, but I also got my „Sunday“ models. These are pets I think might be suitable for the task and also come with an enjoyable human-being. For years now, sinceI will as a photographer, I make sure I still enjoy photography as a hobby and I’m also building a portfolio, because lots of these images also make it to my licensing archive. Personal projects are a wonderful way to be creative, to hone your skills, gather experience and just enjoy the process. Next year I will share with you some projects and I hope you will join me on that journey. A time spend with dogs and being creative is never a time spent in vain.

Sometimes all that you need is good company. And a dog (or cat) is always good company. A question: What would you like to see more of next year? I admit, I'm quite stubbornly showing my preferred content for years now. Dogs, dogs, dogs and... well, dogs. And you will, of course, see more of them next year. But would you like to see cats, too? Or images outdoors? Or action photos? Or behind-the-scenes? Or editing tips? Or the stories of the models I meet? Maybe you would like to see pets looking for homes? I will, of course, show all of that, but I'm wondering if you are missing something or would see more or less of something. Thanks in advance.

Had a short session with this gorgeous boy. As long as the attention span of a puppy lasts. He's a cocker spaniel poodle with a cuteness level of "uncountable". I will admit it: I so miss being able to spend the weekends with my dogs. Every Sunday we went somewhere else. We took photos or not. All of them together or walks with only one of them, as all three loved to get some attention for them alone. But we have these memories and I often go through the images... thousands of them. Text in German as she is looking for a home here in Germany. I could steal her. She is so fluffy and so soft and so gentle and funny. A gem. Bär is her name. Name: Bär / Bärchen 🐻, Alter: 6 Monate Rasse: kroatischer Schäferhund (Mischling) Größe: handliche Cocker-Spaniel-Größe Aufenthaltsort: Lübeck Herkunft: Kroatien Die Pflegestelle sagt: Du bist erst seit kurzem in unserem Leben, und mit deinem wundervollen Wesen hast du uns alle völlig verzaubert. In Kroatien warst du nicht gewollt. Du wurdest entsorgt, ausgesetzt, aber zum Glück eingefangen und ins Tierheim gebracht. Dort bekamst du deinen Namen (Medo = Teddybärchen). Denn rassetypisch (Kroatischer Schäferhund Mix) hast du statt einer Rute nur ein zuckersüßes, kleines Stummelschwänzchen mit dem du freundlich wedelst. Mit deinem hoppelden Galopp siehst du wirklich aus wie ein kleines Schwarzbärbaby. Du liebst Menschen, vor allem Kinder, bist unglaublich schlau und wissbegierig. Du möchtest gefallen und eine enge Bildung zu deinen Menschen aufbauen. Du kommst sofort wenn man dich ruft und für Futter machst du sowieso alles 😅. Wir wollten doch eigentlich "nur" dein Ticket in ein glückliches Hundeleben sein (denn ihr schwarzen Hunde verlasst in Kroatien selten ein Tierheim lebend). Doch nach ganz kurzer Zeit haben wir so eine tiefe Liebe zu dir entwickelt, dass wir uns kaum ein Leben ohne dich vorstellen können. Doch trotzdem sind wir überzeugt. Deine Familie wartet da draußen! Du wirst mit ihr sehr glücklich werden und wirst auch sie sehr glücklich machen. Nun ist deine Zeit gekommen um zu scheinen mein kleines schwarzes Juwel 🖤. Zeig ihnen wer du bist. Bär ist gerade 6 Monate alt geworden, sie muss noch kastriert werden, ist aber gechipt, geimpft... Sie wird ausgewachsen zu den mittelgroßen Hunden gehören ( geschätzt 16 kg 45 bis 50 cm). Wer Bärchen aufnehmen möchte, der ist sich bitte darüber im klaren, dass sie noch ein Welpe ist, der sich viel Aufmerksamkeit, Kontakt, Spiel und Training wünscht.
