It was quite an eventful evening at the park… 1. An EXCELLENT pile of stinkyness was discovered and rolled in many times 2. Games of fetch were played, including moments of terrier snappiness as Sybbie tried to steamroll Tom (who is much bigger than her) 3. Sybbie noticed a horse running on the nearby racetrack (separated from us by a fence) and absolutely BOLTED OFF to chase the horse. It was actually astonishing how fast she is. As the horse moved out of reach, she realised she was very close to the private stables and ran like a thoroughbred into them to play and explore 4. I had to run after her like an absolute maniac hoping she’d actually listen and come back, while Tom calmly stood with my mum waiting for us to return. Sybbie is a complete princess 👑… and what she wants… she gets! She’s now got her own Signature Kit @dogfriendlyco harness to match Tom’s and we LOVE it. Shocking times… for one of us at least 😂 Tommy health update: Tommy saw his wonderful vet Helen this afternoon as he still won’t sleep through the night. We think it might be due to anxiety, so he’s starting a mix of short term (so I don’t go insane) and longer term medications to help manage it. He’s also getting some blood work done to check there are no thyroid issues, or anything else amiss. As a side note, I swear Tom remembers the exact vet who operated on him when he ate that sock as a puppy… he gets so timid around her 🫣🫠 Poor Helen! Hello! Sorry it’s been pretty quiet here on Tom’s page. I had a lovely ten days in Bali with my mum but contracted Covid when I got home, which wiped me out for two weeks. The good news is Tommy has been SUCH a good boy through all of this- being a wonderful house guest for his grandad and being great company while I was unwell. We’re both looking forward to our routine returning to normal though.
