First Aid Workshop for North Gaza's Mothers: Today marked the conclusion of our campaign's (Translating Falasteen x @thesameerproject North Gaza campaign) new weekly 3-day First Aid Workshop, targeting displacement centers across North Gaza. This week, we worked with representative mothers from each group of classrooms in Kafr Qassem Displacement School, totaling 26 remarkable women. Over the course of three days (17.12, 19.12, 22.12), these mothers received comprehensive training on first aid and how to respond effectively in medical emergencies. At the end of the workshop, each mother was provided with a fully equipped first aid kit containing: 10 sterile gauze pieces, 3 crepe bandages, an iodine box, a disinfectant box, gloves, an adhesive plaster roll, burn ointment, Vaseline gauze, gauze rolls, adhesive bandages, and cotton. Our mission is to visit a new displacement center each week, empowering more individuals with the knowledge and tools to save lives in emergencies. By teaching these skills and equipping mothers with first aid supplies, we aim to create a network of capable helpers who can act swiftly in critical situations. The workshops are led by experienced nurses who have worked in emergency situations both before and during the ongoing genocide. Their extensive expertise ensures attendees receive practical and effective training tailored to real-life scenarios. Thank you for making this initiative possible.
