Surpassing any dream for my life and career by a long shot. & I know that 2025 will be even better, and every year after that Thank you, God, for continuing to bless my family. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t started praying every day July 2023. All of my followers who have been with me for the past decade know that my journey has had many iterations. I’ve worked hard to find an authentic place in this world. In 2017, I paused esthetician school to launch & run my own beauty bar. Looking back, I realize that putting my passion for skincare on hold for business, led to burnout and confusion. It took a lot of humility to return to skincare, which I initially saw as a failure. But that persistent pull was my soul reminding me of my purpose to help my community, all while deepening my relationship with God. When I aligned my life with God and my true purpose, everything started to make sense. Just when everything seemed like it should be falling into place, my life quite literally fell apart in every possible way. It was the hardest and scariest time I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t know what the future held, and I was terrified. I turned to God even more. Last October, I did a devotional called “100 Days of Believing Bigger.” What started as my most challenging season turned into the most freeing experience of my life. I surrendered everything to God, trusting that He would provide, guide, and protect us. Unshackled from my worries & fears. My life has never been the same since I’m so grateful that my life fell apart because it led me to the life I was meant to live. God was protecting us 🙏 Elizah expresses her love for our life almost daily, and she’s so thankful for the family we’re building with Michael. Hearing her little prayers and knowing she feels safe and loved is all a mama could ever ask for. All the glory goes to God. If you want your life to change, trust me— it starts with asking him for change 🙏

I’ve talked about this devotional before—I swear it changed my life. It gave me the confidence in Jesus to surrender every day without fear. Growing up the way I did, I only knew how to live in a constant state of worry. So, finding this kind of freedom was truly life-changing. Honestly, I don’t think I would have had the courage to launch @blessedbeauty.life if I hadn’t first let go of my burdens. I just moved into my new space and had an extra copy, so I placed it on my shelf and thought, “If anyone asks about this book, it’s theirs to keep.” Two days later, a client picked it up to take a picture and said, “I’ve been wanting to find a devotional and get back into church.” I almost started crying.
