With a FHA loans you can buy your first home with a down payment of 3.5%! Myth 2️⃣: You don’t have to have perfect credit to qualify for a home loan - A good credit score will allow you to qualify for a better interest rate, BUT not having excellent credit doesn’t mean that you don’t qualify at all! Myth 3️⃣: You DO NOT need to be debt free to buy a home 🏡 - Lenders don’t look at the amount of debt you have but rather they look at your ability to afford your home payments in your monthly budget. So as long as you keep your debt in line with your income, it won’t keep you from buying a home! Myth 4️⃣: Shop for a home THEN apply for a loan - This strategy will lead to disappointment in many cases for first time 🏡 buyers. First, you may lose the home because you have to spend too much time getting your finances in place.
