Last night I felt like a professional Masterchef, I cook plant based and episode 5 of BBC MasterChef the Professional skills test was an aubergine steak recipe by @marcuswareing it was not difficult, it did not take too much time, it did not require too much dexterity, it tasted out of this world. I love the skills test on MasterChef. It gives you the opportunity to learn. If you like aubergines to try this trust me, it is so worth it. It’s on BBC iPlayer. A helpful product in the garden this year. Rootrainers made a different to the quality of my seedlings and to the ease of handling them. I compared seeds grown in pots and in the Rootrainers and the ones in the Rootrainers seemed stronger and healthier. They were also incredibly easy to get out. Christmas cactus is a little bit too keen, yet again it peaks early. You would think after 50 years it should know what to do. However it is strikingly beautiful whenever it flowers. Inherited from my mum, not being an indoor plant person I thought it would have failed by now, but nothing seems to kill it.
