Entertaining spaces are great places to add a splash of drama, whether you're entertaining a large extended family or just yourself on a weekday. We used lacquer on the walls in this glamorous games room which creates a transformative effect as light changes throughout the day. We fully committed to a wonderfully bold colour for the walls and paired with a variety of strong textures and tones throughout to give balance. 📸: @simonbrownphotography . . . . . . . . #salvesengraham #colourfulinteriors #townhouseliving #colorfulinteriors #lacquerlovers

With the big day swiftly approaching, we’re prepping our kitchens for their time to shine. A good old-fashioned clear out of cupboards and restock of cooking and baking essentials will set you up for success throughout the season. A ritualistic part of December is clearing the clutter of life away from kitchen surfaces. We promise you’ll thank yourself when you need space to leave a turkey to rest or pause to make yourself a drink during all the action! . . . . . . #salvesengraham #kitcheninteriors #christmaskitchen #kitchenprep #kitchendesignideas

You know by now that we love a twin room here at Salvesen Graham! But they really come in to their own during entertaining season. Accommodating single guests is so much easier, as is squeezing lots of guests in to your home. From an aesthetic point of view it's the repetition and symmetry that we love. Whether it's a blowsy floral or a monochrome check (as seen here) you can't help but feel happy in a twin room. . . . . . . . . #bedroominteriors #twinbeds #sparebedroom #guestbedroom #guestbedroomdecor #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection

We love to create a dedicated drinks area in our interiors (ideally more than one). It might be anything from a tray, to an antique secretaire, to a fully integrated bar cabinet with mini fridge and sink. Even if you're short on space, carving out a small area for drinks is well worth it; on a bookshelf, in a cupboard, using an antique butlers tray.... It's all about making your guests feel welcome and considered, and making entertaining easy. Especially at this time of year. And, a bar is like a bookshelf, it's colourful and interesting and tells a story! Which is your favourite? 📸: @simonbrownphotography @jonathanbondphotography @astridtemplier . . . . . . . . . . #colourfulinteriors #colourfulinterior #homebar #bardeisgn #bardesigns #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection

This is the first bedroom that we have decorated in our new woven fabrics and we are so pleased with how it has turned out. Using woven fabrics, as opposed to printed, can help a room feel warmer and more inviting - great if you've got a cold, north facing room for example, with lots of external walls. A gathered half tester is also a clever way to give a room more atmosphere without dominating the space. All in all, lots of layers and subtle colours creating a very inviting space! Head over to @salvesengrahamthecollection for more details on all of our new woven fabrics. #bedroominteriors #bedroom #bedroomdecor #wovenfabrics #woventextiles #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection

Florals are not just for the spring and summer months. Invariably their use creates a feeling of comfort due to the familiarity of the pattern for us all. For that extra layer we love to use them as and alongside Eiderdowns and rich blankets. Vintage rugs and antiques create an extra element of authenticity too and are essential if you want the room to feel like it wasn’t decorated ‘overnight’. Most of all though we love twin beds for a guest bedroom - especially for children. Satisfying both in symmetry and practicality. Some happy fabrics here of course from @salvesengrahamthecollection 📸: @jonathanbondphotography . . . . . . . . #twinbeds #guestbedroom #sparebedroom #bedroomdesignideas #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollecton #eiderdown

We’re delighted to announce our new wovens collection is now live on our website and in stock available for immediate dispatch. Designed in house by Mary & Nicole and woven in the UK, the collection features three versatile designs: GENEVIEVE, an organically repeating paisley motif inspired by a 19th – century French archival fashion pattern. PLAIN, with a hint of strie for subtle texture in ten colour ways from Fig to Caramel. SEAWEED, which features a classic small-scale meandering seaweed motif in relief in nine colour ways including Cinnamon and Aegean. The fabric has a natural composition as well as a premium handle & weight, ensuring it is incredibly usable as both upholstery and drapery throughout the home. We can’t wait to see how you use it! . . . . . . #wovenfabric #wovenfabrics #woventextiles #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection

Creating intimate entertaining spaces within a home brings a sense of warmth and comfort, especially during those cosy, quiet moments as the weather turns colder. A well-designed sitting room can serve as the perfect retreat, a space that invites relaxation and encourages conversation. We often like to incorporate a bar as it adds an opportunity for a decorative feature, elevating the space with both style and function. Even without a bar, though, the design can be equally inviting. Flexible, loose seating is essential, allowing you to bring in extra chairs or stools when guests gather, ensuring the room feels open and adaptable. Thoughtfully layered lighting, textured fabrics, and curated details all come together to create a space that’s both welcoming and adaptable 📸 : @simonbrownphotography . . . . . . . . . #drawingroomdecor #drawingroom #countryhouseinteriors #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection

This London drawing room was very narrow so we chose a fire surround with hardly any depth, in order not to encroach on the room too much. It's just the right size for a slim pair of @salvesengrahamthecollection candlesticks! Using a bold piece of art on the same wall is another clever way of adding depth and interest to that side of the room without actually using up any floorspace. The ornate mirror also draws the eye and reflects the wall of windows opposite, helping to make the room feel wider than it really is. We love the challenge of working on a small room and they often end up being some of our favourite spaces. 📸: @horwoodphoto . . . . . . . . #salvesengraham #salvesengrahamthecollection #townhouseliving #townhousedesign #drawingroom #drawingroomdecor #narrowrooms

Bringing these threads of influence together, the Sanderson Trimmings x Salvesen Graham collection is the perfect way to festoon an interior with heritage and history. This archival wallpaper takes its cue from the patterns of a truffle cross-section, with fine pin-dot lines set against a lightly spotted backdrop. Its beautiful blend of texture and tone makes it a versatile choice, adding understated depth to any room.
