Meet Yoxford Man, all 26 ft of him. Suffolk’s answer to the rather larger Angel of The North. The giant, one of the largest bronze sculptures in UK, was placed in the grounds of Cockfield Hall near Aldeburgh overlooking the A12 in 2021 and he’s certainly a very striking figure. Laurence Edwards, the creator, describes the sculpture as like a revenant, ‘a visitor from the past that’s come back, musing on an unrecognisable environment and contemplating its future’.
