Who still gets a live tree for Christmas?! It’s our tradition to cut them down with the kids even though we’ve gone with a faux tree for several years now. It was not a popular decision🥴. I have real ones right outside the front door though that I can plant when I’m done with them😜👍. Time for tulip bulbs🌷to go in and Christmas bulbs 💡to go up! 1400 we planted in my raised beds(thanks to Liz @cherryvalleygardens ) …and several hundred to go. The most commonly asked question I get is, “what do you do with them when they’re done?” You can either leave them in the ground or dig them up. If you’re like me and you plant this many, the brown foliage that “MUST” stay on through the remainder of the spring is hard to look at and I get anxious to plant my annuals in their place. Who’s a hot tub fan? We never thought we were🤣.. but I guess we are! We tried out a bow up one to see if we’d use it. That was last winter, so here we are putting in a permanent one this year!
