Kenilworth / For this hillside backyard in Silver Lake, we tried to save as much of the existing retaining as we could, insert new steps through the chaos, and tie it all together with green. Our client's mother summed up the garden perfectly: "It’s sophisticated but fun, calm with bursts of idiosyncrasy, lush without being too tropical or water consuming!" Photo: @r.j.guillermo
