What plant have you had the longest? 🤔 My first plant was actually a golden pothos, much like most people. This plant may seem simple to most, but it remains one of the most valuable plants in my collection. My golden pothos is a family heirloom plant, starting its journey with my uncle, who unfortunately passed away just over 10 years ago. From there, it lived with my grandmother, who chopped and propagated it around to the rest of my family. When I first moved out, my mother gifted me a cutting. It lived in my college dorm room, placed just in front of a bright shining window—a great spot for it, or so I thought 🤣. Turns out, the poor thing was sitting directly atop a heater and getting absolutely scorched—oops! After that little ordeal, the plant had to go back to my mom for about a year. During that time, I worked on my green thumb, and now, she’s still with me today and thriving.
