We LOVED this resort and it was as much fun for me & my husband as it was for the kids. Hillside do an amazing job of making it an incredibly fun holiday for everyone. This is @hillsidebeachclub in Turkey which is hands down the most fun hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We went for October half term when the weather was a perfect 27 degrees and the sea temperature lovely and warm! The kids were kept entertained with the slides in the heated kids pool, giant sand pit, all the toys and water play in the baby club, daily mini discos and evening shows. Whilst we loved the incredible food, swimming in the crystal clear water, cocktails served to our sun loungers and the amazing dj’s and bands playing at sunset and in the evenings! It was a holiday loved as much by us as the kids. They do an amazing job of appealing to a wide range of ages. If you have toddlers they’ll love playing in the shaded baby club which even has its own little splash park, older kids will love the kids club with slides (adults can accompany them or leave them) and teenagers will love the teens area and huge range of activities and sports on offer. If it sound alike a holiday you’d love don’t leave it too late as it sells out very early, with several dates already fully booked for this year. His happy face when he’s coming down that first run without any help 🥰 We couldn’t get lessons for him on this trip as they start from age 4 in @levi.ski but he had a great time having a go on the nursery slopes with us. We just did a little a day as he was VERY confident in his own ability, but actually had no idea how to slow down, turn or stop and zero interest in taking instructions from us 🙃. Looking forward to get him into lessons next time we go, especially now he’s so excited about it! Big thanks to @tori.ski for giving me the confidence to have a go with him. A family friendly villa in Koh Samui worthy of a place on your bucket list! We had the most amazing time in Lapland! We stayed in Levi in Finland, because we wanted to be able to ski as well as doing all the Christmassy and snow activities like husky sleigh riding and snowmobiling and it worked perfectly for us. Levi as a resort, even if you’re not skiing, is beautiful. It’s all very Scandi, with lots of cute shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants, plus it’s only 15 minutes from Kittilä airport. There are loads of activities to choose from including husky rides, reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobiling, ice karting, snow tubing, tobogganing, visiting Father Christmas. There’s nothing quite like seeing Father Christmas in his actual house, in the middle of the snowy forest. This whole experience felt so special and the kids absolutely loved it 🥰 If you’re thinking about going I can’t recommend it enough! Sunrises and sunsets that last for hours makes Lapland one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever skied ⛷️ From mid December through to early January there is a period of Polar Nights where the sun never rises, but the sky is filled with the most beautiful pinks, purples, reds and oranges. There are fewer runs open at this time of year as they need to be floodlit but the runs were lovely and quiet, picturesque and once it’s dark it’s great fun night skiing.
