Festive reminder: don’t forget to pause, breathe and take a little time for you during this busy festive time, it can be overwhelming to try and do it all. Be grateful, remember what matters and go at your own pace, importantly no ones wants a burned out version of you. It’s ok to say no to things and you don’t always have to feel merry and bright ♥️✨

Festive Kitchen 🌲🎄✨ It’s been a day of slow starts and long breakfasts, blustery walks, roast dinner, candle light and movies in front of the fire. Sometimes the universe tells you to slow and it’s just the tonic you need 💫✨xx

Give me all the bows but this year make them velvet, ruby red and oh so supersized 🎀 Thank you to the incredible Emma @mother_of_pearl_handmade who understood the assignment….intricately handmade, the most stunning plush velvet and of course a hair bow to match for what they say is the trend of the season (although I was already onboard with this one) xx

Seeing the magic through their eyes ✨🎄 For me the real gift at Christmas is being able to relive the magic my mum once created for me, making my own traditions with my little family and watching my children grow together each year. I hope one day they’ll feel the same and pass on some of these cherished memories. We are told these Christmas moments are fleeting, we must be the magic makers, the masters of everything and make the most of every second while they’re so young. But the reality of seeing the magic through their eyes is not about the mountains of presents, the grand gestures or the latest trends. They’ll just remember the feeling, the warmth, the joy…the togetherness. These are the things we cherish at every stage. Enjoy the season you’re in now… ✨

A festive tablescape for supper with friends 🍸🌿 Ad. This holiday season I’ve been working with @balsamhilluk and have had the best time working with the amazing table stylist Samantha Picard @tablescapeluvr Sam inspired me with her distinct style and the beautiful creations she developed for this years look book for @balsamhilluk (you may have seen her featured on @thismorning recently too) My festive table for supper with friends was very much inspired by Sam, bringing in glamour but an element of fun with bauble place settings and fairy lights. I used cedar garlands, Parisian collection baubles and giant brass snowflakes for an over-table creation that will last the season ✨❄️xx
