Here are some of our favourite family-friendly spots in Singapore 🇸🇬 1. Canopy Park at Jewel Whenever we’re stumped for ideas or just need a cool, indoor escape, Canopy Park at Jewel Changi is our go-to! The kids’ favourite is the foggy bowls as they can run freely around the grass patches veiled in mist. 📝 Minimum height for the slides and nets is 110cm. 📝 The walking/bouncing nets and mazes are not included in the general canopy park admission tickets. P.S. The yellow slide is super steep! Not for the faint-hearted like me. 📍Jewel Changi Airport, Level 5, Singapore 819666 2. Pasir Ris Park If we’re not up for the crowds at Sentosa and East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Park is our sanctuary. Multiple playgrounds for all ages + not-so-crowded cycling routes = perfect park day! And don’t miss out on visiting Gallop Stable for some animal fun! 🐴 📍Playgrounds 110 Pasir Ris Road, Singapore 519113 📍 Gallop Stable 61 Pasir Ris Green, Singapore 518225 3. Marina Barrage There’s something magical about the sky here! Kites soaring with the city skyline as the backdrop is breathtaking. Perfect for a relaxing family evening with picnics and cycling. There’s a fun water play area near the fountains but it’s been closed for repairs for some time now and have yet to reopen 🥲 📍8 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018951 4. Bird Paradise Among all the wildlife parks, this one tops our list as there are more accessible food options and play zones. The Egg Splash water playground is one of the main reasons to visit but sadly the slides are still closed for maintenance. 📍20 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore 729825 #FamilyFun #SingaporeSpots #JewelCanopyPark #PasirRisPark #MarinaBarrage #BirdParadise #FamilyDayOut #ExploreSingapore #KidFriendly #NatureLovers #SingaporeWithKids #OurSingapore #FamilyAdventures #WeekendVibes

🦄3 things I wish I knew before staying at a Disney Hotel✨ I must admit that the Disney staycation wasn’t as magical as I had imagined. Maybe because the explorer lodge was more unique, exotic and less fairytale. 💡We chose the sea view room with balcony but our view was partially blocked. If I’m not mistaken, there are rooms with balcony that face the sea directly. Perhaps it could be in your request when booking for your stay! We also didn’t have time to visit the third hotel (Hollywood) in the resort. Another tip is to visit Disneyland at night during autumn months as it could still get quite warm in the day. The cooler weather at night makes everything more relaxing and enjoyable. If your kids are not a fan of Halloween, avoid October! 📍Disney Explorer’s Lodge Hong Kong #disneylandhongkong #disneylandresort #disneylandresorthongkong #disneyexplorerslodge #staycationhongkong

One of the highlights from our last visit to #taiwan was our stay at @sheratongrandtaipei ✈️🇹🇼🏩 We booked the parent-and-child theme suite room, which was a kids haven! The room was divided into 2 sections - 1 side came with a mini-playground that had a slide and a swing, and an assortment of toys; the other side was a king bed and a children bed (most hotels offer only a floor bed or a trundle bed). The hotel also made it super convenient by situating the play areas on the same level as the family rooms. The ball pit, playground, kitchen toys and giant blocks were fun for our kiddos. The older kids might enjoy the gaming room (Mario Kart etc) more. The rooftop pool wasn’t as memorable as it didn’t have any special features, but the kids enjoyed themselves nonetheless. The only issue I had was that the room was quite dusty even though there’s an air purifier. We paid about TWD16,900 for a night, including breakfast. It was a worthwhile experience ❤️ We actually didn’t need to plan much for this trip as the kids didn’t want to leave the hotel 😂 💡I called the hotel directly to make a reservation as I couldn’t find the special theme rooms on their website and on sites like booking.com. #traveltaipei #kidstravel #kidshotel

We’re always on the lookout for fun kids-themed rooms that can keep the kids occupied while we unwind during a staycation. Vacation goals! @mo_singapore family theme suite was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. It comes with a bunk bed with a slide, that alone kept our little ones happily entertained for some time. Mandarin’s prime location is a huge plus. It’s just a stone’s throw from Marina Square and Suntec City, so there’s lots to do e.g kiztopia, vroomtown, pororo park etc. I couldn’t help but compare it to our Pan Pacific Urban Jungle Suite stay since it’s just next door - 1 is a notch better than the other💡Curious about the details that set these two experiences apart? Drop a comment or PM me if you’re interested in the full scoop. 📝Do check out platforms like chope for buffet discounts! 📍Mandarin Oriental Singapore 5 Raffles Ave Singapore 039797 #kidssingapore #staycationsingapore #hotelsingapore #kidsfriendlyhotel

We went on a weekday lunchtime (12pm) and waited about 50 minutes for our turn. But since it’s in the heart of town, time flew by quickly as we did some window shopping. We chose the Minari pancake as the side dish. Minari is a vegetable that looks and tastes a little like parsley, but I couldn’t really taste it in the pancake. I think it added a fresh undertone to the pancake so it tasted subtly flavourful. Didn’t regret our choice because I needed something crispy in contrast to the soupy main. Compared to Japanese broths, I always feel that most Korean soups are milder in taste, but have a nuanced richness to it that comes on gradually. I usually prefer stronger and more savoury food, but there are days that such mild but rich soup is comforting. The collagen soup tasted much more well balanced than the hangover, but don’t expect a tskukada nojo or beauty in a pot collagen kind of soup. The spicy hangover soup also didn’t taste like the kind of spice I thought it would be. Collagen soup is also refillable unlike the hangover soup. The highlight for me was the extremely tender and fresh chicken. The set came with a roasted seaweed appetizer and complimentary kimchi radish and minari salad. You can choose 2 out of 6 soup flavours. Will definitely be back to try the other flavours - beauty, perilla seed, black sesame, black chicken. Was disappointed when we got the dried persimmons as dessert though as I really wanted a cold ice cream to end the meal 😅 If you have the time and craving for some healthy soupy comfort food, I think it’s definitely worth a try. 📍Modu Singapore 333A Orchard Road #02-37 Mandarin Gallery Singapore 238897

Slide into a world of Snoopy fun @snoopy_play_center If you’re looking for indoor playgrounds in Taipei for young kids, this is definitely one you should visit. It’s located inside the Children’s Amusement Park, so you can actually plan a full day outing here. 📝 You have to purchase the amusement park entrance tickets first before heading inside to get tickets for the playground (level 2). The Snoopy playground tickets cost about SGD22 for a child and SGD6 for an adult. 📍Snoopy Play Center 111063, Taiwan, Taipei City, Shilin District, Section 5, Chengde Rd, 55號2樓 #taipei #taipeitravel #kidfriendly #familyfun #sgmomlife

If you’re looking for something tranquil, this hotel fits the bill. It’s near scenic spots like the Fisherman’s Wharf and Lover’s Bridge. Rent a bicycle and go on an exploration🚲 Honest thoughts: The hotel’s food may not be the best and the playground was fairly basic. But overall it’s a cosy retreat, the kids still enjoyed and had fun regardless 💕 Recommend a 2-night stay, depending on how much you want to explore in this area. 📍Golden Tulip Fab Hotel, Tamsui No. 2-1號, Section 1, Zhongzheng Rd, Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan 251015 #familydayout #taiwantravel #taipeitravel #taipeikids #taipeikidsactivities

3 Fun Spots for a Day Out (Boys Edition) 1. Joy of Toys AR is really into cars and trucks, so I knew he’d be thrilled by the big track here. There are 3 play spaces - main play space, toddler play space, and riding room. You have to purchase separate admission tickets for the respective spaces. We only went to the main play space ($25 for off-peak unlimited time) and stayed about an hour there. I feel that kids below 5 may enjoy this spot more; any older may find it less stimulating. 📍Clarke Quay Central (yellow zone) 6 Eu Tong Sen St #03-51 Singapore 059817 2. My Gym For my first date with AR before he turned 3, I wanted to find something active that wouldn’t wear me out! I thought a gym class would be perfect – we could both have fun and I wouldn’t have to chase him around the whole time. ℹ️ Most gym classes welcome parents to join their little ones under 3. Various locations. We went to the one at Great World. 📍1 Kim Seng Promenade #03-106 Singapore 237994 3. SuperPark This wasn’t a date with AR, but after checking this place out, I’m convinced it’s the perfect spot for boys to burn off some serious energy! It’s packed with exciting stuff to do - definitely worth the money spent. AR is still a bit too young for some of the activities, but the older kids, maybe 5 and up, would have an absolute blast here. 📍Suntec City Mall 3 Temasek Boulevard #02-477 (North Wing) Singapore 038983 #familydayout #kidssingapore #indoorplaygroundsg #momlife #kidfriendly
