if you want to live in Korea I recommend doing it this way♡ Rather than applying directly to Korean universities and hoping for a scholarship, which is very difficult to get and super competitive, I'd recommend starting a degree in your home country first, if you already know what you want to study Do your research, which universities have the best study abroad programs (not necessarily to Korea) and international partners in your home country? Even if a university does not have partnership with any Korean university, I'd always advise you to contact the international coordinators and ask them what it'd take to create a partnership with a Korean institute. More often than not, universities love to create new connections, you'd be surprised how much is possible, so don't be afraid of asking for it!💖 I hope this helps, this is actually the exact way I was able to live in South Korea for half a year, it was a bilateral agreement program between my home university and Kyung Hee University, for students of both uni invited to study with no tuition fee, and I also received a scholarship, so I basically was there for free, and I'm still super grateful for that🥺 If you plan to live in Korea for the first time, I think the best way is through an exchange program at a Korean uni, because you won't be alone, the university will help you with all the major difficulties like visa, accommodation etc♡ tags: #studyabroad #studygram #koreanstudygram #studyingkorean #travelkorea #visitkorea #languagestudy #koreanculture #koreanlanguage

a semester in Korea and places I visited that I liked the most~🇰🇷💕 I like Seoul a lot, but smaller cities [like Gangneung, Gyeongju, Pohang] are on the top of the list to see if you ask me~ 📌How to get around in Korea via public transport: As it is much easier to travel now, if you get the chance to go to Korea, I definitely recommend to visit other cities in the country, the public transport is actually super convinient and fast! 📌The two main transportation options are buses and trains I prefer the buses (고속버스) as they are much cheaper than KTX, although there're slower trains that you can choose from~ To most bigger cities the journey will take 2-3h from Seoul depending on your destination but it'll totally worth it! And of course, Jeju is an absolute gem where you can also travel around with local buses✨ 📌From Seoul, the best way to get to Jeju Island is definitely by plane, it's surprisingly affordable too♡ I actually took a plane to Busan as well, as it was cheaper than the train at that time🤯 tags: @southkorea.explores @visitseoul_official @visit.southkorea

korean sentence structure & freebie🎀⤵️ 🎀These pages are from the free version of the korean workbook, Let’s Write Korean: Verbs includes: - korean sentence structure guide - study notes of korean verbs conjugation - verbs conjugation writing practice sheets Find both the full version and the freebie on my Ko-fi page at ko-fi.com/koldoristudy or follow the link in my profile an stories✨ 🎀Korean basic sentence structure is Subject+Object+Verb (SOV), the verb/adj will be at the end of the sentence, so its conjugation usually also acts as the ‘sentence ending’ 🎀Sentence endings are important in the Korean language, as they indicate the tense, intention and politeness level of the sentence amongst others 🎀A/V-아/어/여요 is one of the most commonly used speech level, this form is in present tense, and it is an informal polite sentence ending that you can use with strangers, colleagues or acquaintances 🎀Example on how to use the SOV structure: Subject - Object - Verb 저는  -  커피를  -  마셔요   I      -  coffee  -  drink 🎀This structure stays the same in different tenses, and longer, complex sentences as well. past: 저는 커피를 마셨어요. future: 저는 커피를 마실 거예요. 🎀As you may noticed, some particles are attached to the Nouns in the sentences. These mark the ‘roles’ of these words. N - 은/는 subject marker N - 을/를 object marker N - 이/가 topic marker (this is used also with 있다/없다 to have/not have) N - 에/에서 time and place particles (in, at, to) Verbs/descriptive verbs (aka adjectives) can be of course inside of the sentence in complex sentences, but still always following the SOV rule: 저는 카페에서 커피를 마시고 친구와 이야기해요. I - in the cafe - coffee - drink and - with friend - talk 🎀Subject is often omitted, when the context makes the subject obvious. Q. 뭐 해요? lit: what - doing/does (What are you doing?) A. 책을 읽어요. lit: book - reading/read (I’m reading a book) 🎀Practice this conjugation by downloading the free Korean study sheet, available on my Ko-fi page💚 tags: #koreanstudy #learnkorean #koreanstudytime #koreanwords #koreanvocab #koreanstudying #studyingkorean #studygram #koreanstudygram #koreangram #koreangrammar #learningkorean #koreanphrases #korean #koreanlanguage
