🎂My 1 year Bookstaversary falls on such a lovely day 🎂 Onyx Storm Day!! Let me tell ya, after Amazon cancelled my pre-order, I was determined to get a copy in-store this morning! Had to wait in a line of about 60 people in 18 degree weather…but I was able to get a copy! ✨Shelf Upgrade✨ Meaning I added my Onyx Storm editions to the shelf and THAT is the upgrade 💅 No, but seriously…I am constantly moving the books on this shelf around! I have 3 more big (and full) bookshelves, but this one is always my favorite for some reason. Do you rearrange your shelves a lot?

💘Cross My Heart by Megan Collins💘 Pub Date: January 14, 2025 Rosie is the recent recipient of a heart transplant. During her recovery she decides to reach out through the anonymous donor site and connect with close family of the heart she received. After getting a response from the now widowed husband of the donor heart, she quickly forms a connection. The thing with Rosie is she loves with all her heart, and their connection borders obsession. But with any good thriller, things aren’t always as they seem 👀 This was written in such a clever way! Something about mixed media thrown into a book just makes me eat it upppp. For the first half of the book I couldn’t wait to get to the end of each chapter so I could read all the emails sent between the characters. The second half of the book took me by surprise in the best way! Loved how everything came together. Well done 👏🏼 I am adding more books by this author to my tbr as we speak! A big thank you to Megan Collins, Atria Books, and Simon and Schuster for sending me a copy of this book!

CR: Play Along by Liz Tomforde I am not a sports girly by any means, so I am so pleasantly surprised that I enjoy this series as much as I do. The first two books were good, but the third book stole my heart (and my tears). This fourth book has been so fun! I am really enjoying Kennedy and Isaiah 😍 What is your current read?

Ok, so I know we’re all coasting on those Fourth Wing and Iron Flame vibes in preparation for the Onyx Storm release here soon (eeeek!!) but have you read any of her other work? The Things We Leave Unfinished had me sobbing like a baby! I recently thrifted a big stack of her other books and now I can’t wait to see how they are.
