A post for the Karen’s of the world because I have zero tolerance for unnecessary noise lately. 😬 Look, old moody men above the tub aren’t for everyone. It’s called tension (and photoshoot styling props) and I’m here for it. 😂 —And yes, we opted for false dead storage at the lower portion of the dualing built-in cabinets, to accomodate the tub’s placement. It wasn’t an accident, it was very intentional. The upper drawers are functioning and the uppers provide ample storage for towels and beautiful styling. The knobs on the non-functioning false drawers are sometimes seen as controversial, as some would argue they don’t belong on a false drawer. I think it would look naked without them. To each their own y’all. A little social media etiquette reminder, if you pop in on someone’s feed, check your snarky comments at the door. The entitlement that is tied to this app is unreal. The pass-through pantry at our Dutch Colonial in Laurelhurst is practical and pretty —our specialty around here. The custom floor tile and repetitve archways, create an axis to the single pane arched window that was preserved from the original 1930’s structure. The need for tile was sparked by our clients’ family dog, as it provides a durable surface for storing water and food bowls. It also makes good sense for doing dishes at the main clean up sink, as it’s flanked by two integrated dishwashers.
