You deserve your own worth and peace ✌🏼✨ As I age, peace has become my main priority. I find solace in doing what I love, unapologetically, and caring less about others’ opinions. Truly, spending time in #thamsupgarden quiets my soul. 6 months of healthy lifestyle! (June-Dec 2022) I have never publicly shared about my transformation with all the front, side and back body shots. I guess after much thought, it is about time for me to share them with you with the hope to encourage you if you are doing this all alone or you are still considering about it. It wasn’t easy at first due to many adaptions and changes (just like every first time to everything) but once I got a better understanding of food & workout, it was not as hard as I thought. Of course with the help and encouragement of my supportive hubby, @erictham helped a lot. So thankful that he is journeying along with me too. Look at his transformation - that hard earned 6 pack abs say it all!🔥 He longed to see the fitness breakthrough, I longed for the same too. We worked towards it. I shed off 20kgs and Eric lost more than 10kgs 🙌🏼 So thankful for ending the 2022 by taking control of my own health & adapting to a sustainable lifestyle. It is never too late to start. Eric & I are in our 40s - we are still working towards our goals, slowly but surely. When you go all out with a teachable heart & right mindset, it can be achieved. Cheers to a better 2023 💪🏼

After years of growing aroids, my updates mostly revolve around their growth—watching how they’ve changed over time in #thamsupgarden 🌱 Some plants take the spotlight, while others stay in the background. My Philodendron Joepii is one of those hidden gems. It’s been quietly growing under other plants until I recently pulled it out during a rearrangement. As always, I was amazed at how much it had grown. When I first got it back in July 2022, it had just three medium-sized leaves. Now, it’s pushing out beautiful, mature ones while the original leaf still clings on. It’s a testament to how resilient plants can be when you follow the plant basics routine—providing proper lighting, watering, and a supportive environment (fertilizing & providing poles for climbers). Stick to these fundamentals, and your plants will thrive. #philodendronjoepii leaves are truly unique—large and paddle-shaped, with a deep midrib indent that gives them a puckered, curled look. Their leathery texture makes them durable, and their shape is striking: narrow in the middle with wide, rounded lobes at both ends, creating a distinct fishtail-like appearance. . . . . #philodendronfriday #philodendron #aroid #aracae #livingwall #livingwithplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantmama
Today, I’d like to feature my #philodendrontortum. Its unique, skeleton-like, thin leaves are truly captivating! I bought this pot back in 2019 (last photo), and this is how it has grown over the past 5 years. It took some time to adjust to life in #thamsupgarden. At first, it struggled to thrive, so I had to move it around several times to find its perfect spot. Eventually, I placed it at the back of the aroid wall, nestled among larger plants. It started doing better there, growing in lower light conditions under the canopy of bigger leaves. I also added a pole for it to climb, which helped it grow larger leaves. I’d describe it as a resilient yet slow-growing #philodendron species. In February 2023, I moved it to a brighter spot. By January 2024, there wasn’t much noticeable growth, but by mid-2024, I shifted it to the very front of the garden. Here, it’s shaded by the leaves of my philodendron maximum but still gets direct morning light and warmth. This change seems to have triggered its growth spurt! Some plants take longer to adapt, while others flourish instantly. Whatever the case, patience is key to understanding your plants. You’ve got this! 🙌🏼 Do you have a tortum in your collection?
When you want it so much, it’ll be yours—just like in #thamsupgarden, where everything took time to grow and thrive. Similarly, my maturity, physical growth, spirituality, emotional growth—and even peace—took time to blossom. Everything flourishes when you allow it the time and space to grow. Yes, even PEACE! 🕊️ . . . . #philodendronfriday #philodendron #aroidwall #aracae #aroidaddicts #livingwall #selflovejourney #peacewithin #mentalhealth #strongwoman
The leaves reminded me of autumn colors! 😍 #philodendronstrawberryshake #thamsupgarden
Always cherish the moments I’ve spent growing this #monsteraalbo to this size. It’s still part of the #thamsupgarden, but its variegation has changed. The white isn’t as bright as in this photo anymore since I’ve moved it to a new spot at the #aroidwall. With its new growing conditions, the leaves are becoming greener with sectoral variegation. It’s incredible how much lighting conditions can influence a plant’s growth pattern! #monsteramonday #happymonsteramonday
I was asked countless times on how I grew my plants so big in #thamsupgarden. The answer is TIME. You just need to be patient and focus on the plant basics—no special skills required. Just time! ⏰ #philodendronfriday #philodendrongloriosum
I have a huge thing for glaucous leaves especially #epipremnumpinnatumcebublueno1 😍 #thamsupgarden
