100 million plays on the makeba remix 🥺 scratching my head because it feels like yesterday when I bought the beatpad and was just excited to flip something. That very same day I heard @jainmusic and her genuis with makeba somewhere and thought to myself “damn that should be a house song” so I ripped the stems from a youtube mp3, flipped it in my bedroom, and recorded the beatpad video that you guys have probably seen right then and there. I remember playing the 15 second snippet over and over again just because I was excited about it but that’s just what it was to me… I really had no idea so many other people would be just as excited as me about it. Online that same snippet has been played like 3 billion times (literally). Crazy. Sounding like a broken record here with all of these end of year posts and everything but seriously I am the luckiest guy in the world to have you guys 🫶 thank you 100 million times

None of it makes any sense and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. aaanyways here’s just a few of my favorite moments Jan- shrine w @loudluxury Feb- performing for 30k ppl @ edc mexico 🤯 MARCH- bimini bahamas baby🇧🇸 MARCH 2 - winning remix of the year at the edm awards and then awkwardly getting handed the decks from deadmau5 🤣 APR- the great american bus tour w/ the @breakaway boys May - CROATIA 🇭🇷 JUN- lake como lives up to the hype 🇮🇹 Jun 2 - became a local in barbados 🇧🇧 July - SERBIA 🇷🇸 this was the craaaaziest show ever hands down August - First Ibiza show at USHAÏA supporting one of my biggest inspirations ever @martingarrix September - DJing in vegas. when I was 11 I saw all of the billboards of my favorite Djs on the strip in vegas and I told my parents I wanted to do that and have my face on billboards. we fucking did it baby! October - spooky szn across maybe 12 states November - hometown show in la! December - wrapping the year in chi town love you guys and forever thankful for u x
