Story of our June hols Dad flies to Tokyo for work. Kids pick up skateboarding and longboarding at Decathlon, to the surprise of mum (and dad), while Dad is still overseas. Dad flies to Chicago for work. Dad comes back with another 2 skateboards. Hmm better don't fly again. Ma house no more space 🤪

Did you know that other than being rich in collagen, mutton soup is nutrient dense and contains lots of iron, protein and other minerals. Not a fan of gamey meats and the smell and taste of ginger, I was won over by the way this dish is prepared at this stall. The strong tastes countered and balanced each other and the result is a super comforting and scrumptious bowl of flavorful broth, tender melt in your mouth tendon and mutton slices. Same same but different 😅 Had breakfast at different Providore outlets on different occasions. Got my breakfast as separate sides instead of opting for their standard sets on both occasions. 1-3: Providore @ OUE Downtown Gallery 4-5: Providore @ Raffles Place The sides cost the same though presentation and quantity seems quite varied. To be fair, I ordered an extra egg and toast for 1-3. I love spinach and mushrooms, which don't usually come in a set. On the other hand, I often dump the beans and tomatoes that come in standard sets. Love that providore provides the option for customisation. Note to self not to get the egg and toast in future. Too much food. 💵: ~$6 per side for spinach/bacon/sausage/mushrooms ~$3.80 per side for toast/egg $6 small latte $2 still water
