The jubilant spirit of this @katieridderinc designed New York apartment announces itself the moment you walk into the foyer, where leafy, luscious decoupaged fern prints line the walls and a bright blossom painting by Angelina George erupts like fireworks above a sober Shaker-style bench. “It sets the scene for the entire home,” says @katieridderinc. Week no. 49 of #52weeksofdesign salutes Studio Saint Maur. Born in Paris, France in 1995, Paul du Pré de Saint Maur (@pauldesaintmaur) has been shaped by his international education in the United Kingdom and Italy, and global practices in France and the United States. Such experiences honed his ability to distill sophisticated design into the finest level of detail. De Saint Maur’s attentive eye to detail and his passion for craftsmanship and tradition have coupled to define his unique language in design to find the appropriate vernacular in each project. He seamlessly intertwines traditional and contemporary elements to create timeless atmospheres that evolve with the lives of his clients. He embraces the unpredictable of the daily, welcoming mishaps as opportunities to weave whimsical, unimagined stories into his interiors. He was named to the 2024 FREDERIC It List and has had projects published in AD, FREDERIC and Elle Decoration to name a few. * Headshot * Arthur Fechoz @arthurfechoz * Interior Shots * Matthieu Salvaign @matthieusalvaing #pauldesaintmaur #studiosaintmaur #arthurfechoz #matthieusalvaign #alexahampton #markhampton #fredericmagazine #interiordesign #style #design #designgreats #topdecorator #topdecorators #topdesigners #topdesigner #tastemaker #tastemakers #stylemaven #stylemaven

You could call @mckenziedove a painter. You could also call her a sculptor. Or a floral arranger. Definitely a craft-cocktail concocter. Probably an industrial designer. And most certainly a decorator. “Most interior designers are probably artists and most artists would probably be good interior designers,” says @mckenziedove, who certainly practices what she preaches. Step inside her home in our latest issue– on newsstands now. Photographed by @pthepaul Produced and styled by @torimellott Written by @mlopezcordero

Small wonder. Rather than try to fit a standard bed in the narrow bedroom of his Nolita apartment, @marshallneve opted for a rattan daybed, elevated by the surrounding French Regency mirror and small framed works. Marshall’s home is one of 28 featured in our latest book FREDERIC: The Last Word in Chic.
