Self build timings……but this doesn’t include the designing and planning! Which was another 12 months because of a tricky planning application due to, in my opinion, corrupt councillors who happened to be family of our neighbours!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyways, being gracious and doing the best we could in difficult circumstances came out on top, and we got the planning we wanted! 🥰 How long did it take you to build/renovate? AD - When a new bed makes such a difference ✨ We’d had our old bed for years, and yes it was fine, but it didn’t make my heart sing. 🎨 Paint colour palette 🎨 I was asked if I had a palette of our paint colours all together which I didn’t, so I’ve popped one together. We winged it to be honest, just went with colours we loved and they seem to have worked out! We only chose colours from one brand - Farrow & Ball, which I think helped them all tone together. AD - Look at the difference wallpaper can make! 🤩 ((Swipe to see the before!)) We purposefully kept this room very white when designing it, but in reality it always felt like something was missing and that thing was wall paper. The @ilovewallpaper.co.uk Willow Leaf wallpaper in Natural has given it the wow factor it deserves! It’s provided the room with some warmth & depth and I think it looks stunning!
