These were entirely my husbands project and vision and I’m so proud of him for building them! They were not easy to build - wonky walls and no proper space to work (four years on and I feel like I still find sawdust in the corners of our living room) but we did it and they’re really stunning. We hide all our mess in them and they’re so lovely to style. Ad | Wallpapered ceiling of dreams and the most calming paint colour thanks to @littlegreenepaintcompany Our smallest room has had multiple functions over the last few years - office / store / boot room / general dumping ground, and it was really starting to take its toll. The colourblock was too much for a small room and it just felt a bit claustrophobic. SO happy with this newly transformed room now! I used Little Greene’s cool green shade, Salix in Intelligent Matt Emulsion on the walls and Intelligent Eggshell on the woodwork. Not only is the coverage amazing, but Little Greene’s new Intelligent Paint finishes have a built-in primer which made prepping and decorating the space so much easier. I chose Briar Rose - Salix wallpaper for the ceiling and I’m obsessed with how it turned out.
