I really wanted to give this tension rod hack a go as I had the perfect space for it ✨ I wanted a different kind of garland but as usual I’m not that well organised & I already had lots of this kind so I thought I would just use what I had for now! I bought the tension rod from Amazon, I will add the link on my stories and also the link for the wire lights. This is quite a long rod and so I used 3 strips of garland, it was a bit of a faff putting them on at first as they kept spinning round but I got there eventually. I did need a little helper when it was time to raise the rod incase it collapsed but actually it was fine. I used one set of wire lights on here as that’s all I had but I definitely need at least one more set. Then to finish I just added some paper honeycomb decorations to tie in with the rest of the kitchen.
