Mr. Lim Seah Seng shares the origin story of how his father, Mr Lim Kay Khee survived World War 2 in Singapore and started the business. Today, the business is survived by Mr. Lim Seah Seng, which had to move the shop to Balestier Point from its original location just down the road.
