[Jeju 2022 - Family Photoshoot] We’ve been doing a family photoshoot every year around E’s bday so I was contemplating a family shoot in Jeju. Stumbled upon the account of a Jeju-based photographer on XHS and decided to connect w her to plan a shoot on one of our days there! We did a hanbok shoot in the morning (which I’ll share another time) and a casual shoot at #sangumburi crater. We took about half a day and received hundreds of photos (unedited) from the photographer. She charged 200,000krw (ard S$200) for all that time and effort and refused to accept anything more when I wanted to give her a little tip! She’s super patient and friendly and the kids loved interacting w her ☺️ The whole shoot was very relaxed and we just enjoy our family time tgt while she captures her shots. She’s a Chinese who has been living in Korea for 9 years, so she communicates fluently in Chinese over WeChat. WHAT’S IN MY BAG - @hermes Garden Party 30 Some of you were asking me about the functionality of the #gardenparty30 so I thought I’ll share a #whatsinmybag to show you what it can fit! I think the size works really well for my needs as I wanted a work bag to hold all the daily essentials I need to bring to the office. It can be a little heavy if you pack it to the brim. The weight is mainly from the content, the bag is actually pretty light. It doesn’t come with a shoulder strap so it’s a purely hand-held/ crook-of-arm kind of bag, do take that into consideration! As it only has 1 zipper pocket besides the main compartment, a bag organiser is a must! I love the one I got from @esme.label which comes in the perfect shade of brown to match my GP in gold ✨ The zipper is smooth and the sewn-in details at the side accommodate the structure of the GP when buttoned-up perfectly so it doesn’t leave a mark on the bag even w prolonged use 👌🏻 Tagged all my fav daily essentials in the reel too, hope it’s useful! 🤎

[Winter Outfit Compilation] Sharing some outfits from my recent Osaka trip! The temperature was around 4-10 degree when we were there so I always have a layer of heattech underneath. I passed my old puffer jacket to L and wore @statriz’s old adidas puffer as well as my Zara coat. Fav buy this trip was this stone white coat from GU Japan which I got in L size for a more relaxed look and to better accommodate the thicker sweaters I was wearing. Some of u asked me abt the items I was wearing - most of them are from past (many) seasons. I usually get a size bigger or from the Men’s section to get the look that I want, esp if I’m pairing the tops w leggings. Lots of places sell leg warmers in Japan - I got mine at Muji. I’ve shared on my @shopee_sg IGS highlight - the links to the fur-lined leggings as well as a little hack to create the t-shirt layered look without wearing an actual top below. Another item that I received lots of DM abt was my grey boots - they are @timberlandsg boots which I got for my honeymoon more than 10 years ago. Feel free to let me know if you need more info ☺️

Got the kids’ school bags sorted out before we left for our holiday! I was so impressed when I watched every single one of the K2 kids deliver their graduation speech at the @red_schoolhouse grad concert last year. This year is Elise’s turn and I can’t fully explain the emotions I felt, watching her on stage delivering her own graduation speech. It was a mixture of pride, joy, appreciation, a tinge of sadness and whole lot of admiration - for her, for her K2 pals and for the hard work that the teachers have put in, not just for the concert, but for everyday they spent guiding, loving the children and believing in them. I’m so thankful for how the school encourages the kids to step out of their comfort zone and give them the opportunities to learn and experience so many things that we often think are too “difficult” for them to do at their age. And now, they can walk away from their pre-school journey with not only knowledge, precious friendships and fun memories, but also the confidence that they can achieve so much more than they can imagine - when they put their heart into it.

This is the perfect birthday venue if you have a child who loves to paint and craft! 🎨✂️🖼️🖍️ The kids get 1.5 hours of crafting time and they get to choose from a variety of craft to work on - paint, make clay, decorden, piggy bank, gumball etc. We let the parents drop off the little ones and go to a cafe nearby for coffee before returning for the last half an hour for cake-cutting and photo-taking 🥰 It was a cozy party - the kids had fun, interacted with each other a lot and get to bring back their unique artwork - absolutely perfect for E who has been very much into crafting these days! We were choosing bday cake for E and she wanted this cake but I told her it’s too expensive.
