Visited the Swoosh Studio for an immersive shoe trialing session and I think…. we have a winner(s). I immediately noticed how my (still on the mend) ankle felt trialing all 3 shoes (Structure, Vomero, Pegasus) back to back today. I appreciate the stability and support from the Structure, cushion and comfort from the Vomero and grounded-ness from the Pegasus. This experience is still available till the 21st of August, 10:30am-6pm so go get your feet on some of @nike latest road running shoes! Preschool Graduation 2024 It took me a while to gather my thoughts for this. Elijah graduated from preschool last year, and honestly, it was a moment where I felt incredibly proud of him — yet also scared for what was to come. I gradually realised that this worry and fear stemmed from knowing that our influence and presence in his life are becoming increasingly significant (not that they weren’t in the early years). Our little baby, who became a toddler, then a child, and is now entering boyhood, is looking up to us more than ever. And I recognise that this means parenting now requires even more time, effort, love, and patience. Six months into primary school, while it's always a challenge to set boundaries with work and social life, I’m happy to say that I’ve made an effort every day to be present for our child as he navigates this new chapter. To be there when he needs a listening ear, to play with him after school, to read to him at bedtime, and to have conversations that open the door for him to share what’s going on at school. I’m very grateful to our family, my friends and clients, and the Nike team for trusting and supporting me on this journey. I’ve never felt alone — and that means everything. ❤️
