I’m delighted to introduce the newest addition to our furniture collection: the ‘Gillows ottoman’, inspired by an 18th century Gillows library chair. Entirely made in oak, with hand carved reeded legs and specially cast dog collar castors. Fully sprung and traditionally upholstered, it is available in standard size or bespoke. I am delighted to to introduce the first piece of my Furniture Collection: An elegant mahogany four poster bed, inspired by a late eighteenth century George III original, with gothic hand carvings to the top of the reeded foot posts in the manner of Gillows, slightly tapered back posts and an elegantly simple cornice. The bed is hand made to order in the UK to complete specification by the client. Kandili, a faithful reproduction of a 19th century Ottoman scarf from our collection of fabrics, wallpapers and furniture @carlosgarciacollection shown here on a recent project. Originally launched on a black ground it now comes on a natural linen cloth too, adding to its versatility. The linen has a beautiful weight and is equally at ease on upholstery and soft furnishings.
