Hi and welcome! We are Isabelle and Camille alias Blumenhaus founders 🌼 Blumenhaus started the day we decided to create something special together. Having spent years working on various projects as Art Directors and both of us being Nature lovers, we thought about bringing our dream book to life. The idea was kind of blurry at first but we knew for certain that there would be flowers, a lot of them. We’ve dedicated a year to working on the first issue of Blumenhaus. Because yes, all good things take time! Issue one was released in October 2020 and the reception was overwhelming. We received orders from all over the world and it was sold out twice after only a few months. Today, almost 3 years later, we are so thankful for Blumenhaus being distributed in the most prestigious places, in nearly 100 beautiful shops around the world. Everyday we are amazed by your kindness, some of you supporting us from the very beginning. We are currently working on our 4th issue and we continue to feature incredibly talented contributors. New online entry 🐚 For Chiara Bruschini, art is fundamentally about emotion. Through her works, she expresses her imagination and her inner world. Her photographs, which are blurred, sensual, and feminine, elevate the human anatomy through a play of light and soft-focus effects. Working from her small Parisian apartment, she creates what she calls a “bubble of emotion,” where photography becomes a form of therapy, offering her a sense of freedom through the lens. @chiara_bruschini_ph

In 1804 the family company of J. G. Cotta, publishers and booksellers in Tübingen, Germany, produced this pack of playing cards. It is the first set of transformation cards that was published as an actual deck of playing cards and was intended to be used as a type of almanac, each card representing one of the 52 weeks in a year. ♠️

Vintage postcards from 1890s ‘Au Gamin de Paris, chaussures François Pinet’ 🌸

Rosa Winifred Nicholson was a British painter born in 1893. She painted mostly still-lifes and landscapes. While in Paris in the 1930s she made some abstract works. Significant exhibitions of her works have taken place at the Tate Gallery, at the Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlisle, Cumbria, at Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge and at the Dean Gallery in Edinburgh. 🌸
