Motivation Monday Bestiesssss 💚 Now this the one ! Look at me now, teaching other Beauty Professionals the game! I moved to Houston with a 2 week old and no clients or family (immediate). I had already started Cosmo school but moved to a bigger city. Went to a lot of different beauty schools finished in 2011. Worked in a Barbershop and that was honesty one of the best times in my life. I built my most clientele there. Shoutout to my brother @bosscutz_jah I’m not perfect , I’ve had cars repoed, paid bills when I could etc. But tough times don’t always last tough ppl do! As you can see (read) in the video I had to past obstacles to get where I am now and it wasn’t easy (I’m def not a test taker 🙄 I thght I knew it all) you just have to have drive and push yourself ! I always had good jobs and quit them because I found myself always back behind the chair. Hair is really my passion and I wouldn’t want to do anything different ! Last night we had our first ever (as a Salon) Annual Christmas Party 🎉 🎈🎊 Last year I celebrated my clients, but this year was a little different. 3 months in my new salon home I wanted to celebrate my team. I prayed with me opening the salon god would bless me with some amazing girls and he did just that. Everyone works as a team and we all get the job done, whether it’s servicing a client or making sure that everything in salon is together. We talked about where we are now, upcoming goals, laughed, cried, during painting, bingo, and other games. I really wanted to show them how appreciative of them that I am of them on how we all work together, run the salon and more. We had so much fun this party lasted wayyyy longer than what was scheduled. This is the type of things I love to do. Of course I chose my Luxury Silk Press because you need to know the fundamentals of this service in order for you to dive into the more popular Seamless Extensions, etc. The girls were super fun and eager to learn about everything we spoke about & that makes me happy! This beauty came in wanting a curly pattern to match her curly texture, she then always wanted to be able to wear her hair straight with curls, etc. Sayless! I really love to do curly to straight too because it gives that textured blowout look.
