I noticed a gap in the LA Wildfire relief in locating sentimental replicas for kids who have lost their lovies and stuffies in the wildfires, so I created a google doc for parents to enter the information and then volunteers can help search for the items. Although they won’t fully replace the original, I’m hoping it will provide some level of comfort to children and their families. I’ll provide the Google doc link below. I created it today, so I’m working on getting the word out. Please share with those in need and also those who want to do something to help, even from afar. Sending love and strength to all affected. The past 9 days has included some of the most meaningful work I’ve done to date. An idea and a spreadsheet has exploded into a call to action - it’s motivated people across the country to get their children involved- collecting stuffed animals, raising money, and coming together for the children in LA. Stuffed animal companies, big and small, are on board to ship what we need so kids have a little sense of comfort in the face of losing all of their sentimental items. SO MANY have reached out in support of this initiative.
