Grief is proof that you loved. 💔 There’s so much I want to say, but it hurts too much. What comforts and humbles me is that I was able to give him his flowers on his last birthday earlier this year. These 35 seconds mean everything to me now.

Flew back from Italy just in time for my Stevie. 🖤 I will never forget the 1st House Full of Toys he invited me to. I couldn’t believe I was singing with THE Stevie Wonder. And all these years later, he still graciously brings me into his world—but now as one of his truest and dearest of friends. And I still have that same awe and “wonder.” (Pun intended) ☺️🙏🏽🎶❤️

This time last week we were finishing our Anniversary trip in Peru! These pics and videos of Machu Picchu don’t come close to doing it justice. It was so incredible to learn about the history of this Lost Incan City that the Spaniards weren’t able to find and destroy! This was a sacred place and you can still feel a very strong spiritual energy. Phil remembered the Transformers scene that was filmed here! We stayed in the gorgeous city of Aguas Calientes for a few days. And then spent some time in Cusco. Such a beautiful experience! 🇵🇪

How do I know my husband REALLY loves me?!?! I convinced this New York City Boy to hike barefoot in the Brazilian rainforest up to a waterfall! I’m talking about scaling a small cliff with a rope kinda hike! AND we took a boat through the swamps with *alligators! Last week, I walked into a small unassuming club in Rio De Janeiro called Beco das Garrafas. I was told it was one of the birthplaces of Bossa nova; and my beloved Sergio Mendes among many other legends had played there. And that night would be no different as Dilma Oliveira was scheduled to perform. With the first note, I was so mesmerized by her interpretations of all my favorite Bossa nova songs. And suddenly, in the middle of her set, she asked me (in Portuguese) if I was a singer. She must have sensed how I was responding to the music. We had never met. ln fact, this was my first time ever in Brazil. We didn’t speak the same language. This was not pre-planned. This was 2 singers, living in the moment, singing the language of love together—which EVERYONE could understand. 🎶🥰🇧🇷 And what an honor to be beautifully accompanied by André Luis! Gonçalves. 🎸

What’s happening in Southern California is unfathomable; and desperately needs supernatural divine intervention. Lord, I plead the Blood of Jesus to cover the highest mountain to the lowest valley. My heart is broken for those who have lost their homes, priceless possessions and even their own lives. We are so appreciative of the calls and texts to check on our well being. We are traveling abroad; and thankfully, our home isn’t in harms way at this moment! May God give an extra portion of strength, protection and focus to the firefighters and first responders who are putting their lives on the line. And may God have mercy on us all. 🙏🏽

Made a quick stop back in Rome, on my way to Napoli! Mama was jet lagged and SO hoarse, but it’s ALWAYS a good time with my girl, Caterina! ❤️ Couple of hours later, got to Napoli and walked right into rehearsal for tomorrow’s show. Wonderful orchestra, maestro and singers. And what a joy it was worshipping with my new Bro, Latonius. 🙏🏽❤️🎶🇮🇹 1st successful week of 2025 almost down…51 more to go! 🙏🏽

What a blessing it was to celebrate Daddy’s biblical milestone of reaching 70 years! Though I’m still over here trying to find 70 WHERE?!?!?!?!?! 🤯🤯🤯 Daddy doesn’t like a lot of fuss, but I’m so grateful he allowed us to surround him with love, style and true appreciation. Our Unforgettable Leading Man!!! ❤️

December 31, 2020… The world was a strange, scary and unpredictable place. And yet in the midst of a global pandemic, where there was so much loss, isolation and confusion—we found TRUE LOVE. 🥹❤️🙏🏽 When I remember our first date, (just 3 months before our wedding day 🤯), I now realize it was love at first sight. I kinda get these dating shows a lil bit!!! It can happen!!! Lmao!!! 😂 And now 1,554 days later…I can honestly say, I have felt completely loved, supported, desired, nurtured, respected and cherished EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE DAYS. 💫 Happy 4th Anniversary to us! What God Has Joined together, let no one and nothing tear asunder! Has it really been 4 years?!?!?! Yes it has!!! 💍💍💍💍 PS: Poor Phil didn’t realize he’d be zipping me up FOREVER! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️
