Had a fun night out celebrating Mya's birthday! Was a good reminder to prioritize friends and loved ones during these increasingly frustrating and stressful times.

2025 is off to a strong start! On New Years Day @ilmatar81 and I went to the @umlaufsculpture then @betterhalfbar and @cidercade_austin. Friday I took him to his first ever sound bath at @be.bowled and then yesterday we went to Come From Away!

Enjoying a quiet morning off of work playing this relaxing almost meditative game while listening to the sounds of rain on my phone (and @ilmatar81 working in the background).

Ended 2024 spending time with the man I love (though @ilmatar81 is still asleep as I begin 2025 💤). We made cioppino, played a game which kicked our ass, drank delicious drinks, and watched a really awkward NYE broadcast from the Chicago ABC affiliate on Amazon. I'm excited for what 2025 has in store! Happy New Year! 🍾🎇🎆

So @ilmatar81 and I got this mandala rock painting kit yesterday and I figured it would either be fun or the most infuriating craft project ever. There were tools provided and plenty of instructions. We abandoned that nonsense about 30 minutes in and did whatever we wanted. Freestyle is way more fun than something we would have never come close to the pictures! Screw that noise! Anyway here are our end of year rocks!

Kicked off the bonus Christmas Eve holiday with a float. Been far too long since I've last taken the time. As always I'm left processing the experience long after it has completed. I'll have to get back into the habit of doing these more regularly. Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
