How to improve Chinese Speaking? The answer is listening. Your tones are off? Practice listening. You don’t remember sentence structures? Practice listening. Can’t understand a real life conversation? Practice listening. The Chinese videos and shows are too fast? Practice fu*king listening! Input(reading + listening) leads to output (speaking and writing). If you want a fountain(output), you need water source(input) first. Without the source (input), your foundation(output) will be dry. This is why your teacher needs to use Chinese to teach you Chinese on day ONE. Not English!
