ANIME Fans of Chennai, if you aren’t at Little Soi, Anna Nagar, what’chu doing? 👀🍜 ⭐️📣 All about Chennai’s first-ever anime-themed menu ⬇️ 🍜 Ichiraku Ramen | Veg ₹595 Chicken ₹645 Pork ₹695 | 9/10 This is an iconic fan favorite for most Naruto fans. Noodles served hot in a miso-shoyu broth, char siu, scallops, nori (seaweed), and half-boiled egg. Honestly, I find each bite of ramen needs the perfect ratio of noodles and broth to be good, and once these flavours were all mixed right, I enjoyed this so much! 🍗Luffy’s Meat on the Bone | ₹625 | 9.5/10 This is minced chicken in a jumbo size wrapped around a boiled egg on a bone, served with a Japanese curry sauce that tasted like the Burmese Yellow Curry. Being a megafan of this sauce and of crispy fried chicken, this was a WIN in my books. But the egg with minced meat is not for everyone! 🍳🥘Sanji Okonomiyaki | Veg ₹395 Chicken ₹445 Salmon ₹525 | 10/10 A savoury Japanese pancake that is typically made from grated yam, okonomiyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, seaweed, and noodles. In my case, I had the chicken one, and OMG, this was an instant favourite. Keep in mind though that this has a particular fish sauce-y taste and smell, and some people might not enjoy it. To me, it was amazing! 🍱 Rengoku’s Bento | Veg ₹595 Chicken ₹645 Beef ₹695 | 9/10 Sauteed choice of meat/veg in garlic shoyu served with seasoned sushi rice, teriyaki glazed tofu, tempura, half boiled egg, and pickled ginger. I loved the garlic shoyu chicken and it paired with the egg + rice + tofu VERY well. ✨🎇The ambience at Little Soi is a 10/10 with such beautiful lighting, vibrant decor, and a lovely view of the main road. I would highly recommend this place, and would try the anime menu again soon. Some may find the prices too high, but for the amount of work that goes into each dish, I believe it’s well deserved. This is not something we should eat often. But if you’re going to eat something creamy and savory once a while, make it this. It was so juicy and richhh, I couldn’t get enough. It is a common thought to find it a little overpriced for 220, but with the quality and effort put in here, I found it worth it. ALSO TRY: 💫 Yaghma Roll — 11/10 — Rs. 160 Now, 📍Kebab Centre, Mannady— Rs. 140 for Beef Sheekh— 7/10 Tasted good but as my friend pointed out, it was a little undercooked. I really enjoyed it while eating though.
