Tbh filming this 10+ hr process was not the bees knees lol but I love you all so much and really hope this helps 🥹🫶🏿 thank you to all the bby angels that waited so patiently… answering Q’s in the comments More details- This is mainly a sew in tutorial, I usually cut shorter choppier layers and use Velcro rollers and smoothing serum to style day to day (but kept it short for the sake of the vid). I also usually dye my hair one more time once fully installed to get the face framing pieces and highlights way lighter and just right I use the Ivy Flip Over Method 🤍. I cut my wefts for my sew ins for a more seamless install and to be able to reuse the hair (so the layers can be in a similar position the next time) I use about 4-5 boxes of dye! Linked on my Amazon Storefront along with an example of the kind of weaving cap I use & my blow dryer 🫶🏿 Hair is raw wavy 1 16in, 1 18in, 2 22in bundles (I cut off a few inches) I gel my edges to “straighten” them to avoid excessive heat then brush them over the tracks before styling. I usually do this and tie them down overnight The fuller the better!! I didn’t have the time to add all 4 bundles of hair this install, but honestly it’s a must. Leave most of the hair for the top as this style looks best with a lot of volume in the front and at the crown for layering!

me & my not so little bean Life lately >> it’s giving balance 🥲🙌🥰 As a mom that’s usually home from sun up to sun down, it has been extremely hard to prioritize having a life that doesn’t start and end with motherhood. LOVE it here, but I’ll be honest and say I lost my sense of self in it a little. So this year, I promised myself that I’d be more intentional about finding time to get away here and there. Some time to just be Tay. She’s outsideee you guys lol Time with friends, days to myself (usually at the mall lol where I’ve run into a few of you guys 🥰), hitting the gym regularly again.. it’s been so good for the soul 🙏 It’s not easy, and I still struggle with mom guilt. But I want to lead by example, and show Lo that becoming a mother doesn’t mean subtracting things from your life.. it just means adding lots of extra love to it. As women we really can have, be, and do it all, we just have to make it happen! Which lets be honest, we always do 😌 So here’s your reminder: book the vacation, call up the girls for brunch, put the babies to bed, get *that* fit on and go grab some drinks! You deserve it 🤍

If I’m honest, sometimes I get in my head about how my life looks these days as an influencer. How some of my “peers” are jet setting here and there to appearance after appearance after all the work they’ve put in throughout the year (sooo well deserved ofc🥂) while I’m living my “simple” life at home Been busy all year in survival mode while being as present as I possibly can for my daughter and slowly rebuilding our life. Inevitably having to put creating on the back burner As I sit and compare, I realize that it is truly the thief of joy. Comparison will have you minimizing all the incredible ways God has shown up for you and answered many silent prayers just because you aren’t where you think you should be yet. It will have you making hasty decisions about jobs, homes, relationships just to show that you’ve “made it too” Going from living with family, to save, to being able to get a place of our own. Putting myself out there again and dating. Finally finding a city to settle down in and give Lauren the stability we’ve both so desperately been craving… creating a loving community of people who have really poured so much into us in such a short time and getting to pour right back into them 🤍🤍🤍. These aren’t small wins, they are huge victories! Victories I give all the glory to God for This year didn’t look at all how I planned and THANK GOD for that. My rock bottom moments gave birth to so much more than I could’ve dreamed of for us, and I can’t even believe it is just the beginning. A happy and healthy and beautiful life for me and my girl is the accomplishment… we are finding our way ✨ All that to say, making it out of survival mode is my biggest achievement this year.. next year all the work behind the scenes will reveal itself, but for now.. I’m so proud of exactly where I am, and all this to say.. I hope you are too 🤍
