This Diwali film holds a special place in my heart. Created back in 2014, it was a whirlwind project with just 10 days to produce. My friend Senthil Kumar, then NCD at JWT, trusted me to take it on, knowing that I’d bring dedication and passion to every frame, regardless of the medium. We opted for live-action and built an actual set with super talented @sandeepshelar_10 simulating zero-gravity with action props—no shortcuts with master action director @vikramdahiya707, no post-production magic—just pure creative grit from an incredible team that included @scissorhanzz our maestro editor, @zookthespook ( our brilliant music director), @tapanbasu ( our ace DoP), and @swanandkirkire , our genius lyricist and singer with @jasleenroyal . We worked through the night, united by a shared vision, and managed to bring an emotional connection for all those celebrating Diwali far from home. Proud to have set a new trend with this film, and even more so that it still inspires others today. Happy Diwali to everyone, near and far!
