A new immersive arts venue, IMBA Theatre, is set to open at Gardens by the Bay in December 2025. This first-of-its-kind attraction in Singapore will focus on multi-sensory, large-scale visual arts experiences. Key highlights include: • The Black Box: A 20,000 sq ft space with 12.5-metre-high projection walls showcasing vibrant, interactive art. • Gallery Space: Hosting traditional and mixed media exhibitions, featuring installations, paintings, and more. The opening exhibition, The Botero Show, will feature works by Colombian artist Fernando Botero, alongside a showcase by Singaporean muralist Yip Yew Chong and a segment on the Nanyang art style. Visitors can also look forward to curated retail and dining options. As a sneak peek, a hand-painted floor art by Korean-American artist Rostarr will be partially visible even before the venue's opening.
