Our #PeopleofSgPools have been creating joyful memories and making meaningful connections this December! 🎄✨ From a lively Year-End Party with @scys.sg to a heartwarming Christmas Get-together with friends from @mettawelfareassociation, the spirit of giving has been in full swing. The celebrations continued with Joy Box 2024 at @tampineschangkatcc, sharing gifts and happiness with the community. To cap it all off, seniors had a fabulous time dancing the night away at the @allkinsingapore X’mas Disco Night. #ForCommunityPurposeandBenefit

Lions Befrienders’ new ‘Our Kampung’ mobile application is a game-changer for seniors! This recently launched app provides a seamless blend of online and offline activities, tailored specifically to the needs and interests of seniors. Whether it’s participating in a virtual exercise class, attending a digital storytelling workshop, or joining an online social chat, the app ensures that seniors have continuous access to the activities they love, and those that connects them with others. Additionally, seniors will also be able to create, interact and engage with their own pet avatars in the app which would earn them valuable points! ‘Our Kampung’ app is currently available to seniors of Lions Befrienders and will progressively be rolled out to seniors in Singapore. #SupportedbySingaporePools @lionsbefrienders

Spreading Joy and Cheer this Holiday Season! 🎄 Singapore Pools is glad to be a part of ChariTrees, which returned bigger and brighter than ever this year with a display of 78 beautifully decorated Christmas trees along the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade. The true spirit of the season shines through in the impact of ChariTrees, as funds raised will go towards supporting underserved children and youth through the arts with The Business Times Budding Artists Fund, uplifting persons with disabilities with @spdsingapore, enhancing suicide prevention efforts through @samaritansofsingapore, and providing essential support to end-stage kidney patients via the @kdf.sg. #SupportedbySingaporePools Photo credit: @trclsg

By promoting digital inclusion, we're fostering a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive. It was an evening brimming with laughter, joy, and heartfelt gratitude. This year, we proudly honoured 125 dedicated #PeopleOfSgPools at our Long Service Awards Ceremony, including those who achieved an incredible 45-year service milestone. We deeply appreciate the hard work and dedication of our team in fulfilling our social mission, and it was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying themselves. In partnership with @toteboardsg , Singapore Pools is proud to have raised $500,000 though Community Chest (@comchestsg) supporting inclusive sports for persons with disabilities! The funds will go towards Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, Equestrian Federation of Singapore, Singapore National Paralympic Council, Special Olympics Singapore, Singapore Disability Sports Council and Parabowls Singapore. This achievement is made possible with the collective efforts of our #PeopleOfSgPools, community partners, and YOU - every heart sent made a positive difference to the communities-in-need! Today, we’re honored to present the cheque to Community Chest at the CWAH2024 Cheque Presentation, witnessed by our Guest of Honour, Mr @alvinshtan , Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry. The event featured an inspiring panel discussion with @yippinxiu ,Theresa Goh, Jeralyn Tan and Coach Yurnita Omar, sharing their journeys and experiences in inclusive sports and community. Singapore Pools is glad to be a part of Allkin Volunteer Appreciation day! We have been a partner of @allkinsingapore to bring a variety of meaningful activities to seniors across Allkin’s Active Ageing Centres. Our #PeopleofSgPools regularly bond with the seniors through artistic workshops like 3D floral jelly cake-making at AAC @ Punggol 677B to action-packed bowling sessions at AAC @ Ang Mo Kio 510. These activities are designed to match seniors’ strengths and interests, encouraging social interaction and physical activity. The seniors also joined us at our Community Day in conjunction with our 55th anniversary celebrations last year.
