BTS of the First show I did for @nacjewellers @flochennai @ekayabanaras 2 months Postpartum.. I was super nervous to actually take up such a big project and commit to it knowing that I had a newborn at home that needed my undivided attention. But thanks to my amazing support system that I have at home, I'm actually able to go out and do things that make me who I am as well. Having a baby sometimes makes you feel like you have a loss of identity and for me work is a huge part of who I am and being out there is extremely important for me to have some semblance of sanity in this crazy volatile phase that one can go through in life. I wanted to be able to prove to myself that just because there is this huge change and this huge blessing and this wonderful event that has happened to us doesn't mean I need to leave everything else behind or sacrifice everything that I had built up until then. This was my way of proving to myself that I can do both and I can do both well.. So I really wanted to put this content out there to motivate People who are going through similar situations in their lives doesn't mean just having a baby, It can mean anything significant change and I also wanted to also keep it really real and fresh so if I'm sluring cos of the lack of sleep in my voice over.. pls forgive me! I hope y'all can relate to it and I hope y'all are here to continue seeing me put out more content like this. Had the pleasure of hosting a small styling workshop for Ritu Kumar @ri_ritukumar @ritukumarhq at the Adyar store. For those who couldn't make it.. Here are a few of my favourite highlights of the Morning and a culmination of what I loved in the new collection. I also want to make a special mention to all the people who came to the workshop and were sportive enough to try on the clothes and model it for the rest of us. Goes to show how wearable, classy, versatile and size inclusive the current collection is with something for everyone and for every occasion.
