Each piece of furniture has been carefully designed and customized to fit perfectly into the space while fulfilling the client’s individual needs and preferences. The interior design in the villa is a particular highlight. But the true jewel in the villa is undoubtedly the main living area. Here, a breathtaking carpet stretches out, drawing all the attention to itself. “I envision a huge, golden carpet that looks as if a sold-out Nirvana concert took place on it.” This 600 x 600 cm carpet, designed in collaboration with Belgian textile designer Nathalie Van der Massen, is a true work of art. Woven from Trevira, linen and Lurex yarns in the renowned Textielmuseum in Tilburg, it shimmers golden and is interspersed with anthracite-colored, abraded areas.
