Back in 2015, I had just started making bags for Rosh and his friends when one day, @aaronblaiseart happened to see a post Rosh made on social media about the art supplies bag I had made for him. Aaron commented, asking if we could make a couple for him! We’re talking about THE Aaron Blaise - the legendary Oscar-nominated Disney director, loved the world over for his work on The Lion King, Brother Bear, Beauty and the Beast, etc, and his brilliant classes at Creature Art Teacher. Rosh and I were stunned! 🤯💗 Back then, we weren’t “Lilorosh” and had no tailors; I made all the bags myself. I was a nervous wreck until the bags reached Aaron and got to know what he thought of them. His email read “I LOVE LOVE LOVE these bags.” I was screaming with joy! 🥳 It has been years since, and we have grown much. Aaron’s incredible kindness, support, and regular shoutouts have been indispensable to our growth.♥️ For over eight years, Aaron has traveled extensively with our Artie bags. We feel incredibly lucky that he discovered us on that fateful day! 🥹 Cut to 2022, after shutting down Lilorosh during the pandemic, we were apprehensive about reopening. However, to our surprise and delight, we were welcomed back with the same love and support we had always received. We will always be grateful to each and everyone for it. 🫂💗 With renewed hope and vigor, we thought it would be a good time to ask Aaron about a collaboration. To our utter surprise, he generously agreed without any hesitation! We were beyond thrilled and grateful ♥️ We have worked hard on this collection, but it has been a roller coaster ride, with moments of doubt (we detailed this journey in a previous post). However, we are super excited to announce that the D-Day has finally arrived!🥳 Aaron Blaise will launch this signature collection TODAY at 9 pm IST with a video reveal of the three magnificent covers.The video also shows him creating a beautiful painting on a book from this collection. This collaboration with Aaron Blaise is a dream come true, and we’ve poured our hearts into honoring his remarkable legacy. We hope you’ll cherish this collection as much as we do. Looking for old pictures of us for an article and found these! 😁 The last picture in the series was the first ever “properly” shot picture of us as “Lilorosh “😄 And it was taken by none other than @sudhithxavier (@pixelnirvana ), back in 2017! The middle one is an illustration that @artofroshan did of us when we took part in the @ahundredhands fest back in 2019 😁 And the first one was taken just before the second wave of the pandemic hit! @etsyin wanted to feature us and we had no pictures! 😅 Luckily, our main man @sudhithxavier happened to be in Cochin. So we rushed to Cochin and got a set of lovely pictures shot at the gorgeous Mandalay Hall! ❤️ You must have already seen a hundred pictures from the last series 😂 I think it is time to shoot the next set. The latter half of 2024 was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride! There were moments when giving up felt like the only option, but we dug deep and pushed through. Somehow, against all odds, we made it! As we step into 2025, we’re filled with renewed purpose and energy, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. To every single one of you who stood by us with your unwavering support, love, and belief – thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had the pleasure of spending a delightful evening at the brand-new and beautifully designed @eunoians studio, engaging in an inspiring conversation with the brilliant National Award-winning artist, @joshybenedictart, as part of their fantastic new initiative, “Beautiful Thinkers.” The event began with a screening of his award-winning short film, A Coconut Tree, setting the tone for a thoughtful and creative exchange. Thank you, @azeem_kattali and team @eunoians for inviting us—it was such a joy meeting everyone! We’re looking forward to the next session. ♥️
