No one cares but I refuse to have words on my IG profile page so swipe to see my job hunting journey after a 10 month career break😬 Sharing for those of you keen to take a break but afraid that it’s difficult to find a job later - the right company/ boss will always value your personal development! Don’t be afraid to take a break, it’s so worth it ✨

Taking a short break from traveling. Hanoi was the 1st place we visited and it feels like ages ago!

Everyone’s pursuit of happiness is different. If the conventional route is not for you, don’t be afraid to try something new and work towards a life you love 💖

We were too lazy to hike up the famous Fansipan mountain, so here are some of the other things we did at Sapa 1. Cat Cat Village is a picturesque place 2km away from Sapa Town, the home of H’Mong ethnic people. 2. Ta Van has many trekking routes that you can explore on your own or get a guide to take you around. It’s very easy to arrange a tour - just ask your hotel/driver. There are many home-stays in the area as well. 3. Everywhere in Sapa is beautiful so it’ll be easy to just find a cafe to have coffee with a view. Viettrekking Coffee & Restaurant is a popular one where you can watch the red trams pass. 4. Lao Chai Valley View was recommended by our homestay host and it was breathtaking! It’s a loop that takes ~2h to complete (we only did 10min cos I didn’t have the stamina 🙃 but it was already very beautiful along the way). 5. We had a massage + herbal bath at La Dao Spa (650k vnd/ US$26). It was just what we needed after a long day of walking. Red Dao herbal baths uses traditional herbs and is supposedly beneficial for improving blood circulation and relieving pain. 6. We chanced upon Sapa Lake as we were walking around Sapa Town. It sits against a mountain backdrop with view of the town. You can take a nice walk around the lake and enjoy the tranquility.
